Link's Perspective-

As soon as Sidon left, Zelda glared at Link.

"Why did you say yes?! You aren't even a part of this club anymore!!!"

Link shrugs.

Zelda sighs, "Oh my cod, Link. Why didn't you just say no? You didn't even wanna talk to him in the first place."

"I- I don't know. I mean if that girl's still absent I don't mind."

"You just like looking at shirtless guys, don't you?" Zelda smirked, raising an eyebrow.

Link flushed red and he glared at her, kicking her chair.

Zelda laughed and she stuck out her tongue.

"Come onnnn, admit it."

"No, cause it's not true."

"Then why're you taking up a job that you don't even need to do?"

"Because...shut up."

Zelda laughs.

"You didn't even write the article either, you just gathered the information for it."

-

Friday afternoon, after school, Link was having fencing practice.

Ever since he joined fencing, he had to drop journalism. He had to practice after school three days a week, which is valuable time for the newspaper gone, so he had to stop working for the school's paper.

Tulin, Link's fencing partner, stood across from him as they practiced. Tulin was two years younger than Link, yet around his same skill level when it came to fencing.

"Zelda told me you're going to the swim game tomorrow." Tulin said, swiping his foil down at Link.

Link dodges and he nods.

"Yeah, I know. Wait- why'd she tell you?"

"Cause we're besties." Tulin smiles.

Link chuckles.

"Anyway, I got a ticket so I can go with you." Tulin said.

"Why do you wanna do that?"

Tulin shrugs, "It seems interesting."

The Next Day-

Tulin sat next to Link on the bleachers as they watched the game. Tulin was watching, trying to understand, while Link took little quick notes about the game in his notebook to give to Zelda so she could make an article.

"I feel like watching people swim is like watching people do track." Tulin said.

Link tilts his head.

"Like...there's not much going on besides like 'wow look at that guy swim.'"

Link chuckles.

"What? I'm right!"

"Hey, you talking bad about his sport?" A bigger male shrunk down Tulin.

"Uh- I- "

"I'll have you know my brother works hard to do this, unlike you who probably never even touches grass." The guy snarled, stabbing his finger in Tulin's chest.

Tulin nodded frantically, watching as the guy left.

Tulin sighed in relief and he looked up to see Link's mischievous smirk.

"Oh shut up." Tulin muttered, folding his arms over his chest.

"I never said anything." Link whispered.

Tulin grumbles.

"I don't care, this is stupid anyway." He muttered, pouting.

"Then why'd you come?" Link asked.

"Because I wanted to hang out with you." Tulin said.

Link smiles and Tulin relaxes a bit.

"But seriously, this is kinda boring." Tulin says.

Link shrugs.

"Why'd you even wanna do this anyway?" Tulin asks, "Why do extra work?"

Link looks down at the paper before shrugging.

"I don't know, I guess it's just- "

Link got cut off as he saw someone waving at him.

He smiled and felt his heart race as he saw Sidon waving at him.

Link waves back before looking down at the paper.

Tulin narrows his eyes and leans closer.

Link raises an eyebrow and Tulin smirks.

"I see why you wanted to come here." He whispers mischievously.

Link glares at him.

"It has nothing to do with that, I'm just helping out a friend."

"Mhmmmmm~" Tulin smirked and laughed as Link slapped his arm.

-

Sidon's team ended up winning and they were all very excited. Sidon walked over to Link and thanked him.

"I really appreciate you doing this, I'd love to keep this memory of making it to state forever." Sidon said, hugging Link.

Tulin smirked and Link glared at him.

Tulin giggled before leaving.

Monday-

Link was staying a bit late after fencing club to practice a bit more. He was practicing his footwork when he heard the gym door open.

He glanced over and took off his mask to see Sidon.

Link's eyes widened.

"Hey, Zelda said you might be here." Sidon said, walking over and smiling sheepishly.
