Sidon's Perspective-

Monday-

Sidon sighed as he got ready for school.

"I do ask for help though, all I get is just stupid dates from Kyle." Sidon huffed, before sighing and thinking about it.

I guess I never really asked for help...I just said I was feeling bad...

But I am good at communicating, I don't just...oh jeez. Sidon ran a hand through his hair, slowly realizing about his coping mechanisms.

At school, Sidon stopped in the gym later that day to see Tulin and Link practicing.

Sidon cleared his throat and they turned to him.

Link's eyes widened and he took off his mask, his face a bit red but Sidon assumed it was because he was practicing.

"Sorry, am I interrupting?"

"Not at all." Tulin smirks at Link, "In fact, I was just about to leave."

Link gave Tulin a look, but he smiled and walked to the locker room.

Link sighs and he looked down, putting away his foil.

"Link, look..." Sidon sighs, "I just wanna say I'm sorry."

"No, it's my fault for bringing it up."

"It's just...touchy for me, I guess. Mostly because I don't like talking about it most of the time." Sidon said, running a hand through his hair.

"Well I understand why you don't like talking about it. It was a big thing."

"But I can't just keep it to myself. That ends in stuff like that. I just...miss my sister."

Link nods.

"But if that happens again, I'll just tell you how I feel."

Link smiles and Sidon smiles back.

"So, uh- Kyle said you were going on a date."

"Oh- yeah, that. I hate it when Kyle does that, he keeps setting me up with girls and it never works out."

Link looked up and Sidon shrugged.

"I think it's stupid and I don't get why he drags me into it."

"Oh...yeah." Link nods.

"But are we good?" Sidon smiled a bit, holding out his hand.

Link smiled back.

"Yeah."

After practice, they walked out and Link offered to drive Sidon home.

"Sure, thanks." Sidon smiled and they walked out of the school's gym to see it was raining.

"Shoot." Link whispered.

"Here, I have my umbrella." Sidon said, taking one out.

He held it above them as they walked. It was kinda tiny and Sidon kept blushing as he felt their hands brush together.

"I thought you had swimming practice today." Link said, trying to start up a conversation.

"No, the coach was sick. I do tomorrow though, I gotta work hard for the championship."

"When is that, anyway?"

"In a couple months." Sidon said before handing the umbrella to Link and stepping out from under it.

"What are you doing?" Link asked.

"Well I realized it was stupid for a swimmer to be worried about getting wet."

Link chuckled, "You're gonna catch a cold."

"I'll be fine, it's just a bit of rain."

Link smiled and he put away the umbrella.

Sidon smiled and he wrapped his arm around him.

"See? That's the spirit!"

Link laughed, blushing a bit.

Sidon smiled at him and dragged him over to a big puddle before jumping in it.

Link smirked and splashed him back.

Two Days Later-

"I'm so sorry." Link said, sitting on Sidon's floor.

Sidon smiled at him from his bed, his face was red and he had a wet washcloth on his head to try and lower his fever.

"It's okay, you did try and warn me." Sidon said in a congested tone.

Link smiled a bit and Sidon smiled back.

"I feel a bit bad, though." Link said.

"Alright, well you can do something for me." Sidon shrugged, sniffing.

"Like what?"

"Go to the beach with me when I feel better." Sidon smirked.

Link sighed but he kept the smile on his face, "Alright, fine. For you, dummy."

Sidon smiled and he laughed.

"Now get some sleep." Link said.

Sidon grumbled and hugged his Blahaj.

"I'm gonna put the homework you missed on your desk, okay?" Link said, standing up and opening his bag.

Sidon nods and shuts his eyes.

Link glanced over to make sure he was asleep before setting down some papers and a wrapped gift on top of them. He smiled at Sidon before leaving.
