 Link's Perspective-

Link helped Dorephan pick up the board games and put them back.

He was silent, thinking about the new information he had learned.

After they finished cleaning up, Link looked back at Sidon's room. He didn't know what to do. Should he knock and just grab his stuff before leaving? Should he stay and try and talk to him?

Link took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

There was no response and he hesitated before cracking the door open.

He saw Sidon sitting on his bed, facing the window on the opposite wall. He wasn't crying, he wasn't snapping or shouting, he was just silent.

His body was stiff and the air was tense.

Link walked over and he sat next to Sidon. Link glanced up and saw Sidon hugging his Blahaj plushie.

"Sidon..." Link said quietly, not really knowing how to start this out.

Sidon took a deep breath.

"Yeah..." He responded in a barely audible voice.

Link didn't know what to say so he just stared down at his feet.

"Sometimes I wonder what would've happened if she had just looked both ways before running across the street." Sidon said and Link looked up.

"She'd probably still be here. Do you think she'd be proud of me? She always said she was..."

"I'm she she would be. She loved you, you were her brother."

Sidon took a deep breath and he nodded.

"So what exactly happened, anyway?"

"I joined soccer when I was eight. She had already been in it for a couple years and was eleven. We were kicking the ball back and forth and she was helping me. I accidentally kicked the ball across the street and she just chased after it without checking for cars. So she ended up getting hit and not surviving."

Link's eyes widened and Sidon laid back on his bed, staring up at his ceiling which had some glow in the dark sea creatures on it.

Link laid down as well, looking up at the glowing stickers.

"I'm sure she would be really happy to see you and how far you've come." Link said.

"That's what everyone says." Sidon whispers, "But what if she's not? What if I did something wrong to upset her?"

Link looked down.

"Well...she'll never know because...she's not coming back." Link said in a quiet voice.

Sidon sighs and buried his face in his hands.

"I know...I know she's not, but I just want to know what it would be like if she was still here." He said quietly.

-

"Good job! You're picking this up fast." Mipha smiled, ruffling her little brother's hair.

Sidon giggled and he smiled up at his sister.

Mipha passed the ball to him again and Sidon accidentally kicked it a bit far.

"Oh- that's okay! I'll go get it."

She smiled and started to run towards the ball, not seeing the car that was speeding down the street.

It looked so far at first, but it hit her before she had any time to react.

"MIPHA!" Sidon shouted, running over.

The car quickly stopped a bit away and the coach, who heard Sidon shout, ran over.

Sidon was crying and shaking, it had all happened so fast.

-

"Sidon?" Kyle snapped in Sidon's face. Sidon shook his head and snapped back, seeing he was in English class.

"You okay?" Kyle whispered, looking concerned, "You've been looking out into space this whole day."

"Yeah, I'm okay." Sidon forced a smile.

Kyle sighed.

"Well...hey, I actually know something that make you feel better."

"Really? What?"
