At the Pokemon Center; Ash gives Scatterbug to Nurse Joy, whose Wigglytuff took it to be treated up, as she reassures them that Scatterbug will be fine, much to Mairin's Relief!
Ash: Nurse Joy!
Mairin: Please help Scatterbug!
Nurse Joy: Sure! Take care of it, Wigglytuff!
Wigglytuff: Wigglytuff...
Nurse Joy: Now, don't worry about a thing!
Mairin: Thanks a lot!
Nurse Joy then surprises them by revealing this Scatterbug doesn't come from this Area, as Both she and Mairin reveal the Different Vivillons on the Pokemon Center's Screen!
Nurse Joy: It looks like your Scatterbug doesn't come from around this Area...
Alain: Huh?
Ash: Wait, you can tell just by looking?
Mairin: Yes!
Nurse Joy: Mairin's right! Take a look up at the Screen!
All Five: Huh?
Ash: Wow!
Bonnie: Vivillon!
Serena: But they all look different!
Nurse Joy: Vivillon have many different patterns depending on where they come from... And there are many more patterns than that!
Ash: Awesome!
Mairin: In a similar way, Gym Leader Viola of the Santalune City Gu, told me something like that when my Siblings and I were all younger, Scatterbug have slight differences, too!
While her friends were impressed by that, Nurse Joy was very interested to know where Ash found Scatterbug!
Ash: Wow!
Pikachu: Pi-Pika!
Alain: You're quite the little Genius, Mairin!
Charmander: Char, Char!
Mairin: Aw, thank you!
Chespie: Ches!
Nurse Joy: I'd be very interested to know where you found that Scatterbug...
But before Ash could answer; that's when Officer Jenny grabbed his arm with her rope, causing Alain to remember a traumatic memory from his early days with the Professor!
Ash: Well...
Officer Jenny: I've got you!
Ash: Huh?! Whoa!
Pikachu: Pika!
Ash: (Grunts)
Alain: (Gasps)
Charmander: Char?
Young Alain(F.B.): Vivillon, no! (Grunts)
Officer Jenny(F.B.): What were you doing out there?! Do you realize you could've gotten the Both of yourselves killed?!
Professor Sycamore(F.B.): Easy... He's not an Orphan... (Approaches Alain with a gentle Fatherly approach!) Are you hurt? Now, let's take a look over here...
Young Alain(F.B.): (Quivering as he buries his face in the Professor's Shoulder!) I'm sorry, I was just trying to help Vivillon... I-I didn't know...
Professor Sycamore(F.B.): You're safe... That's all that matters...
Alain snapped out of it, however, when the same Officer Jenny accused one of his best friends of working with a Pokemon Smuggler!
Officer Jenny: Now don't make a move, or you'll be in a whole lot more trouble than you're already in!
Manetric: Mane...
Alain: Move?
Ash: You've already got me tied up!
Officer Jenny: Believe me, I know who you are! If you have the Stolen Scatterbug, then you must work with Dolan, the Pokemon Smuggler!
Ash and Serena didn't know what she was talking about while Both Alain and Mairin defended that Ash would never hurt anyone!
Ash: Pokemon Smuggler?!
Serena: No way!
Alain: Ash would never hurt any Pokemon at all!
Mairin: Alain's right!
Officer Jenny gently recognized the young boy from that day while Both Clemont and Ash explained what had really happened!
Officer Jenny: Huh? Alain?
Clemont: We were chasing after you because we wanted to help you, Officer Jenny!
Ash: On the way, we found a big cage and Scatterbug was coming out of it!
Both Mairin and Alain insisted that Ash was telling thr truth as Officer Jenny gently let go of her rope as Both Nurse Joy and Clemont realized how Scatterbug's Cage had fallen off Dolan's Truck!
Alain: He's telling the truth!
Mairin: Hmm-Hmm!
Officer Jenny: Then that means...
Nurse Joy: Somehow, the Pokemon Smuggler must have dropped the Cage!
Clemont: That's what I think!
Ash gently rubbed his grabbed wrist as Officer Jenny apologized along with her Manetric, explaining that she was always jumping to conclusions and then messing things up!
Officer Jenny: Oh! I'm so sorry! I'm always jumping to conclusions... And then I mess things up...
Ash, however, reassures her, her Manetric, and a very worried Alain that he is just fine, much to Alain's relief!
Manetric: Ectric...
Ash: Don't worry, I'm okay!
Alain: (Gasps) Ash, are you okay?!
Ash: Don't worry Alain, I'm just fine!
Just then; Wigglytuff comes back with a fully recovered Scatterbug, much to everyone's relief!
Alain: (Sighs)
Pokemon Center's Healing Room: (Healing Chimes!)
All Seven: Huh?
Nurse Joy: Scatterbug's fine now!
Scatterbug: Bug, Sca!
Ash: Scatterbug!
Serena: You're okay!
Clemont and Bonnie: Whew...
Alain: Well thank goodness for that! Hmm...
Mairin: Hmm...
