Back at the Park, Lyn was sharing her Donut with Dedenne as the two ate together when the Little Girl got an idea from the Red Ribbon from the Donut Bag!
Lyn: Here!
Dedenne: Denene! (Gasps with Delight!) (Eating)
Lyn: Hmm... (Eating) It's Yummy!
Both: (Eating)
Lyn: I know!
Dedenne: Ne?
Slowly, she tied the Ribbon on Dedenne, making them a Match!
Lyn: Hmm... Now, you stay still while I put this on you, okay?
Dedenne: Nene!
Lyn: Hmm... (Gasps with Delight!) So Cute! (Grunts)
Dedenne: Ne?
Lyn: You see? Now we're a Match!
She explained that while her Pichu was really Cute and Cared about it a whole Bunch, she liked Dedenne too before asking if the Little Pokemon wanted to come back Home with her!
Lyn: Pichu's really Cute, and I Care about it a whole bunch, but I liked you too! Want to come home with me?
When she saw the confused look on Dedenne's face, she knew that its Trainer had gotta be looking for him right now... And probably really Worried, too! Realizing that she might find Pichu back at the Pokemon Center if she brings Dedenne with her, they decided to go back!
Dedenne: Nene?
Lyn: Wait, I'm sure your Trainer's gotta be looking for you right now... Really worried, too! Hey! If I go back to the Pokemon Center and bring you with me, maybe I'll find Pichu there! Hmm! Let's go back! (Grunting)
But as soon as Lyn and Dedenne left, that's when Ash and the Others showed up, with Serena believing that they would never be able to find her if things kept up at this rate before Mairin asked anyone for a Plan B!
All Six: (Panting)
Ash: This is it...
Alain: The Woman said she saw the Little Girl right around here...
Clemont: Looks like she already left...
Serena: I'm afraid, at this Rate, we'll never be able to find her!
Mairin: (Sighs) Plan B, anyone?
Luckily, Clemont reveals that he just thought of an idea that might do the Trick, but he needs some time!
Clemont: I just thought of something, but I need some time!
Alain: Hmm?
Ash: It sounds like you've got an idea!
Clemont: Yeah... There's something I wanna try that just might do the Trick!
