Later the next morning, Serena and Fennekin had just finished Breakfast, glad to not be woken up in a rough way for once!
Serena: (Sipping her Tea! So nice... No early Rhyhorn Race Practice for me, and no Fletchling waking me up! Such a relaxing way to start the day!
Just as Fennekin finishes eating, Serena begins to stretch before her Partner copies her but ends up falling over a little bit! Serena smiled, before asking if Fennekin got enough to eat!
Serena: (Stretching)
Fennekin: Fennekin!
Serena: (Giggles) Fennekin, did you get enough?
Fennekin nods as Serena agrees that she did as well, before the two of them take off to catch up to Ash!
Fennekin: Fennekin!
Serena: I did, too! Okay!
Fennekin: Kin!
Serena: Thank you for everything!
Fennekin: Fenne!
Serena: Let's go! Santalune City's really close!
Fennekin: Fenne...
Serena: Just a little bit further and I'll finally get to see him!
In Santalune City, Ash was rushing ahead to find the Gym, with Alain, Mairin, Clemont, and Bonnie all close behind him!
Narrator: Our heroes have arrived in Santalune City, and soon Ash will be challenging his first Gym in the Kalos Region along with his two new friends, Alain and Mairin!
Ash: Yeah! Santalune City, you'd better look out! I'm gonna get my first Kalos Badge from you!
Pikachu: Pika!
Alain: (Chuckles)
Bonnie: (Panting)
Mairin: Wait up, you guys! Your legs are longer than mine, remember?!
Clemont: Come on, guys! Can't you slow down a little?!
Mairin and Clemon then tripped as Alain, Ash, Chespie, and their two Partners made sure that Mairin was okay before telling Clemont to hurry it up!
Both: Aah!!
Chespie: Ches!
Alain: Huh? Mairin!
Ash: Whoa, are you okay?
Pikachu: Pikachu?
Mairin: (Groans) Yeah, I'm all right, just a little fall...
Charmander: Charmander, Char!
Chespie: Chespin, Ches!
Mairin: It's okay, you two! No permanent damage!
Ash: Hey, Clemont, hurry up!
Clemont sat up, asking Ash if he knew where the Santalune Gym was!
Clemont: (Groans) One thing, and I think it's kind of important: Do you have any idea where the Santalune Gym might be located?
Ash smirked with confidence, of course, he doesn't!
Ash: No clue--course I don't!
Everyone was confused by that as Ash explained things as he stood on top of a Water Fountain!
All Four: Huh?!
Chespie: Ches?
Charmander: Char?
Dedenne: Denne?
Ash: I figure stuff out best when I run! Keep moving ahead and you can't go wrong! That's the way we roll!
Pikachu: Pikachu!
Suddenly, Ash and his Pikachu saw that a young blonde-haired Woman was taking a picture of the both of them!
Ash: Huh?
Pikachu: Pika?
Viola: Thanks so much for the great pic! The two of you seem to have the makings of a great team...
Ash thanked the Woman for her kind words before telling her that Pikachu was his Partner!
Ash: Hey, thanks... Pikachu's my Partner!
Pikachu greeted the kind Woman with a smile, who gave them directions to find the Santalune City Gym!
Pikachu: Pikachu!
Viola: FYI, if you're going to the Santalune Gym, make a right at that corner!
Ash, Alain, and Mairin all gave their thanks for the directions before they took off in that direction!
Mairin: Yeah?!
Alain: Awesome!
Ash: Thanks a lot for the info! I told you we can't go wrong! Let's move, Pikachu!
Pikachu: Pika!
Alain: Right behind ya!
Charmander: Char!
Mairin: (Sighs) Where do those two get all that energy?! Wait for us, you guys!
Chespie: Ches!
Clemont told them to wait for them as Bonnie ran to catch up with them!
Clemont: (Gasps) Ash, not so fast!
Bonnie: Hey, wait up!
Clemont then thanked the Woman for her help before taking off after his Sister and his friends!
Clemont: (Grunting)
Viola: Huh?
Clemont: Th-Thank you for your assistance! (Panting)
The young woman smiled as Clemont left, knowing that Mairin really had grown...
Viola: Huh? Hmm...
