Narrator: Setting his sights on Entering the Kalos League, Ash Challenged and Successfully Defeated Viola the Santalune City Gym Leader, along with his New Friends, Mairin and Alain, and they all earned their First Badge in the Kalos Region!
Later after Leaving the Gym behind, Ash was asking Serena where she was heading to from here... But the Rookie was still unsure, haven't figured out what her next step was quite yet!
Ash: So Serena, where are you headed from here?
Serena: Uh, me? Well, I... Uh... I'm...
Seeing her uncertainty, Bonnie suggested that Serena should come travel with them!
Bonnie: Why don't you come along with us?
Serena: Huh?
Ash and the others liked that idea, knowing that Serena's support could really help them a lot as she did during Ash's Santalune City Gym Battle against Viola!
Pikachu: Pika!
Ash: Sounds great to me!
Mairin: Yeah!
Chespie: Ches!
Charmander: Char!
Alain: Yeah, that'd be fun!
Bonnie: Come with us, we'll have a great time!
Mairin and Alain: Yeah!!
Clemont: Sounds like an excellent idea to me!
Ash: Thanks to your Support, I was able to Win against Viola at the Santalune Gym! And if you could help me from here on out, uh... It would be great!
Serena smiles, agreeing that travelling with some Friends would make things on her Journey much more Fun!
Serena: Hmm... Sure! How could I say no to all that?
Everyone cheered at that while Bonnie tugged at Serena's arm to join the Group before she revealed the quickest way to get to Cyllage City!
Ash: All right!
Pikachu: Pika!
Mairin and Alain: Yes!!
Chespie: Ches!
Charmander: Char!
Clemont: Yeah, that's the Spirit!
Bonnie: (Gasps with Delight!) Come on!
Serena: (Giggles) Oh! Ash? You, Alain, and Mairin are all planning to Travel to the Cyllage Gym next, aren't you?
Ash: Yeah!
Mairin and Alain: Yep!!
Serena: Well, I can show you how to get there... Ta-Da!
Serena pulls out her Travel Guide, explaining that they have to travel back through Lumiose City first before they get to Cyllage City! Plus, they can visit a Boutique and Yummy Bakery there as well!
Serena: Here's where we are now, Santalune City... But look here, Lumiose City is between us and Cyllage City! So we have to Travel back through Lumiose City before we get there!
Ash: I guess you're right!
Mairin: Sounds like a Plan to us!
Alain: Hmm-Hmm!
Serena: Great! There's a Boutique in Lumiose City with the Cutest Clothes! And there's an awesome Bakery that has the best Pastries you've ever tasted!
Bonnie loved the sound of that as everyone raced on ahead, with Clemont Panting Behind!
Bonnie: (Gasps with Delight!)
Alain: What are we waiting for? Let's hurry up!
Serena: Lumiose City, here we come!
Mairin: (Gasps) Wait up!
Bonnie: Yippee!
Ash: Clemont, Step on it!
Clemont: (Panting) I'm doing my Best!
Later in the Forest, Ash explains that while they're going to Lumiose City, he'd really like to take a shot at a Lumiose City Gym Battle! But while Pikachu agreed with him; Clemont looked a little bit nervous, which Mairin clearly noticed before voicing her concerns with Alain, Charmander, and Chespie!
Ash: As long as we're going to Lumiose City, I'd really like to take a shot at a Lumiose City Gym Battle!
Clemont: Um...
Pikachu: Pikachu...
Mairin: Alain? Do you notice that Clemont gets nervous when Ash mentions the Lumiose City Gym?
Chespie: Pin?
Charmander: Char?
Alain: Uh... A little bit!
Luckily, Clemont covered it up by suggesting to Ash that he should try to catch another Kalos Region Pokemon since he hasn't been in this Region very long!
Clemont: Well, it's probably a good idea to keep in mind that you haven't been in the Kalos Region long! I've got an idea... Why don't you capitalize this time to catch another Kalos Pokemon?
Ash and Pikachu both liked that idea before Ash started looking after he promised to let Bonnie take care of it if he catches a really cute one!
Pikachu: Pika?!
Ash: Yeah, that's a good point! Now... Where is my next Pokemon hanging out?
Pikachu: Pika, Pika...
Bonnie: Huh? Hey, Ash?
Ash: Hmm?
Bonnie: If you catch a really Cute Pokemon, will you let me take care of it?
Ash: Sure, of course!
Bonnie: Yippee, Yay!
But as Ash continues looking, Alain asks Serena why she decided to go on a Journey, which causes both Clemont and Mairin to agree with him!
Alain: So, why did you decide to go on a Journey, Serena?
Clemont: That's a good question, Alain!
Mairin: Yeah, I was wondering about that one too, you guys!
Serena smiled before she pulled out an old Handkerchief to give back to Ash, who instantly recognized it!
Serena: Huh? Hmm... Ash?
Pikachu: Pika, Pika?
Serena: I wanted to give this back to you... It's yours!
Ash: Huh? That was... My Handkerchief!
Pikachu: Pi?
