Outside of the hideout; Ash and the others saw that Dolan's truck was there and no one was guarding it as Clemont suggested sitting tight for now until Officer Jenny gets here!
Ash: That's definitely it!
Alain: Dolan's truck!
Mairin: And no one's guarding the hideout!
Serena: Wonder where Officer Jenny is...
Clemont: Hmm... Let's sit tight for now!
But Both Alain and Ash knew that Dolan could escape before Jenny gets here, and wanted to go in now, but Mairin, Serena, and Clemont all needed to make rescuing the Captive Pokemon their first priority by making sure that the coast was clear first!
Ash: But what if he escapes while we're waiting for her?
Alain: Hmm... Let's go!
Serena: Wait!
Pikachu: Pi!
Charmander: Char!
Serena: If Dolan sees us coming, who knows what he'll do to the Pokemon!
Clemont: Serena's right!
Mairin: We need to make safely rescuing the Captive Pokemon our first priority!
Chespie: Che!
Ash: Then what are we supposed to do?
Mairin: We should find out if anyone's inside...
Ash nods as Alain lets him do it by bringing out Froakie and tells him to give Ash a Tree Signal if no one's inside!
Ash: Got it!
Alain: Care to do the honours?
Ash: Hmm! Now, Froakie, I choose you!
Froakie: Froak! Kie!
Ash: I need you to find out if there's anyone inside that building!
Froakie: Froakie!
Ash: If no one's in there, give me this sign...
Froakie nods as he leaps inside quietly, and sees all the Captive Scatterbug and Spewpa but no Dolan before going back to report to Ash and the others that the Coast was clear!
Froakie: Kie! Froak! Froak, Kie... Froak, Froak, Froak, Kie! Froak, Froak, Froak, Froak? Froak, Kie? Froak? Kie... Froak!
Ash: Froakie's saying the Coast is all Clear!
Mairin: Way to go!
Alain: Yes!
Chespie: Ches!
Charmander: Char!
Alain: That means now's our chance!
Serena: Okay!
Clemont: Let's get in there and rescue the Pokemon!
Bonnie: Yay! (Giggles)
Dedenne: Dedenne!
Pikachu: Pikachu!
But as they began to make their move; Both Mairin and Ash saw that Spewpa was worried about something, right before Pikachu and the others were all caught in a Net set by Dolan, who had figured out Chespin's Disguise!
Spewpa: Spew, Spew?
Mairin: Hmm?
Ash: Something wrong?
All Four: (Screaming)
Ash and Mairin: (Gasps)
Dedenne: Nede!
Pikachu: Pika! Pika, Pi!
Charmander: Char, Char!
Ash: Pikachu! Everybody!
Mairin: (Gasps)
Chespie: Chespin, Che!
Dolan: Well, well, well... Guess I missed some Pokemon and some kids!
Ash: Dolan!
Mairin: You! You're the one who almost ran us over and almost killed Alain as a kid!
Chespie: Pin, Pin, Ches!
Dolan: How about that? Heard of me, huh?
Ash: Let all our friends go!
Dolan: Give me a break! Nobody tricks me and gets away with it! You punks are responsible for this, aren't you?
The three of them are all horrified as Dolan explains that the Disguise fell off during the rough ride as he threatens to get even with them by selling Chespin as well, much to Clemont's horror!
Mairin: Oh!
Ash: It's Chespin!
Chespie: Chespin!
Dolan: It was a rough ride so the Disguise fell off... But I'll get even with you by selling this little one, too!
Clemont: Huh!
Refusing to let that happen; both Ash and Mairin stood their ground as Dolan called out his Diggersby as Ash looked it up in his Pokedex!
Spewpa: Spewpa!
Mairin: Oh no, not on my watch... No one threatens one of my friend's Pokemon and gets away with it!
Ash: Mairin's right! You're not doing that!
Chespie: Ches, Chespin!
Dolan: You've both got some mouth on you! Now, hand over that Spewpa!
Diggersby: Diggersby!
Chespie: Pin?
Mairin: (Gasps)
Ash: Who's that Pokemon?
Ash's Pokedex: Diggersby; the Digging Pokemon, and the Evolved form of Bunnelby... Diggersby can easily lift a Boulder, weighing over a ton with its powerful Ears!
Both Froakie and Chespie agreed to battle and Both their Trainers nodded in agreement as Clemont knew that their moves were Super Effective against Diggersby, before they promised Clemont and the others to not lose to a Crook like Dolan!
Diggersby: By!
Froakie: Kie, Kie!
Chespie: Chespin, Chespin Pin-Pin!
Ash: Wanna Battle, you two?
Froakie: Froak!
Chespie: Pin!
Clemont: Diggersby's a Ground Type!
Alain: So both Froakie's Water Type Moves and Chespie's Grass-Type Moves are Super Effective against it!
Bonnie: I know you and Mairin can both do it, Ash!
Dedenne: Dedenne!
Serena: Don't lose to a Crook like him!
Charmander: Char, Char!
Pikachu: Pika, Pi!
Ash: Right!
Chespie: Ches!
Mairin: He's doing down!
Dolan: We'll just see about that!
