Just then; Penelope's Mentor brought Shy Randall over As Ash and Alain both asked if Randall wanted to make friends with Froakie!
Penelope's Mentor: See? Look at all the Pokemon!

Ash: Your name's Randall, right? My name's Ash!
Alain: Randall, how would you like to make friends with Froakie?

But Randall seemed Scared as Ash tried to reassure him that Froakie wasn't going to hurt him as the Bubble Frog Pokemon agreed with him!
Randall: Huh? Hmm Uh...
Ash: Froakie's not gonna hurt you...
Froakie: Froakie...
Randall shyly admits that he is kinda of Scared as Bonnie suggests trying to feed Froakie, but Randall turns away while tugging at his Hat to hide his Eyes away in Fear!
Randall: I-I'm kinda Scared...
Bonnie: Why don't you try to feed Froakie?
Randall: No way! I'm Scared!
Both Bonnie and Mairin tried to help by showing how to do it as they do with Both Dedenne and Chespie but Randall refused, remembering a Tragic event that caused him to be Afraid of Pokemon...

Mairin: Watch what we do, Randall!

Chespie: Chespin!
Randall: Those Pokemon don't fool me... I-I'm not dumb... You never know what they'll do...
Randall(F.B.): (Giggling)

Randall(F.B.): Huh? It's a Hoppip!

Ash and the others felt terrible about that happening to Randall and tried to reassure him that something probably happened that caused Hoppip to become Frightened, and told him not to let Pokemon Scare him so much!
Serena: I'm sorry that happened to you...
Clemont: Maybe something happened that caused Hoppip to become Frightened...
Bonnie: Sometimes not knowing what a Pokemon's gonna do can be lots of Fun!
Mairin: Yeah!
Alain: Hmm-Hmm! She's right!
Chespie: Chespin!
Charmander: Charmander!
Randall: Huh?
Ash: Try not to let them Scare you so much!

But Randall doesn't know how since he can't help how he feels, not believing that they'll ever be his friends!

But just then, everyone saw a Truck pulling over, confusing everyone about who this was now!
(Truck Beeping)
Everyone: (Gasps)
Alain: Who in the World could that be this time?
