chapter one: killer queen

Year 4, Autumn
Hogwarts Train Express

"it's cold down here"
"help us get away..."
"naela... find me"
"naela!!"
"SAVE ME, NAELA!!!"

i woke up and saw my friends staring at me. i feel the sweat on my forehead and i pant really loud.

"merlin's beard! are you alright, seph?" lorey asked.

i still am catching my breath right now. the dream i had felt so real, as if the voice are close to my ears. i could feel the coldness in my skin as well.

"y-yeah..." i answered to his question. i looked around and i cannot see my boyfriend.

"he's with his friends. at the back" theo said and i just nodded. i looked at the window and saw the view.

"are you sure you're alright, severa?" i nodded and i heard their sighs.

i've been getting this weird dream since last year. i couldn't figure out why, it's always the voice of my uncle then some water and my mother. i don't even know why.

when we arrived at hogwarts, i sat beside adrian my boyfriend infront of me are my friends.

"you should eat less. you're getting fat." adrian whispered and my eyes widened. he placed a plate full of salad and fruits.

"my mum dislikes you already. at least make an effort" he whispered once more.

i nodded, i ate what he served in front of me and i looked over my friends they are glaring at adrian. i shake my head and they rolled their eyes instead.

after dinner, adrian stayed at the great hall he said it's for his quidditch team meeting. my friends and i went to the common room and they stared at me with their hands crossed.

"c'mon! don't be mad, i mean he is right... maybe i am ge-"

"seph, he is manipulating you. can't you see?" matty said and i bitterly smiled.

"let's talk about this tomorrow, i'm tired..." i stood up and i took a step on the stairs.

"this cannot wait tomorrow. you have another bruise right? he hit you again, didn't he?" matty said and i sigh.

"matty, i'm really tired right now... give me some space for a while" i said and went upstairs. my dormmates greeted me and i sat down at my bed.

i am severa alsephina galilei eleanor black, a pure-blood slytherin. my mother is carina black and my father is evan rosier. i excel really well when it terms on academics, but people consider me a "love fool". i have a boyfriend named adrian pucey, a slytherin as well like me. we've been dating for 2 years now. his behavior patterns changed ever since we had our 1st anniversary. he's violent, aggressive and manipulative towards me, but i turned a blind eye because i love him.

i have 3 slytherin friends.

matthew thomas riddle, i met him during a meeting that my uncle barty took me. we played a lot there and i also met my other friend, theodore nott at the meeting. while my other friend, lorenzo berkshire he visits our place and he became my playmate as well. i was under the care of my aunt narcissa for a while, but i left when i was about 10 years old because i hate his husband. he irks me off. my guardian right now is my father remus lupin. he took me in and cared for me. he is one of my mother's closest friends.
