The match ended with Taehyung's team celebrating their victory, the echoes of cheers still lingering in the hall. As the crowd dispersed, Y/n and Nayeon stood in the corridor, watching the rain pour down heavily.

The weather, which had seemed ominous earlier, now unleashed its full fury, drenching everything in sight. Jina had left earlier for her library shift, leaving the two friends alone.

Nayeon's face was a picture of sadness and disappointment. Y/n noticed this and gently tried to console her.

"Don't be sad, it was just a match, and winning and losing are normal," Y/n said, offering a comforting smile.

Nayeon sighed, "I know, and I'm not sad because of the loss. I'm sad for Min-ho." She looked to her left, and Y/n followed her gaze to see Min-ho sitting alone on a bench, his head hung low in shame and disappointment. His teammates were nowhere to be seen, leaving him isolated in his moment of defeat.

"He deserved better. He worked so hard for this day, yet he lost. It just breaks my heart to see him like this," Nayeon said, her voice filled with empathy.

"Then go to him," Y/n suggested, gently nudging her friend.

Nayeon looked at her in shock, "W-what?!"

"He needs someone right now, and that someone can be you, Nayeon," Y/n said, her eyes shining with sincerity.

"I've seen how much you wanted him to win, how you kept cheering for him even when he was losing, and how you still support him. It's true love, Nayeon, and I believe now is the right moment to go to him and make a space in his heart for yourself."

Nayeon hesitated for a moment, watching Min-ho, who seemed utterly dejected. Gathering her courage, she nodded and took a deep breath before walking towards him.

Y/n watched as she approached Min-ho and started a conversation. She couldn't hear their words, but she saw the way Nayeon sat beside him and the two began talking more earnestly. Nayeon's presence seemed to be a comfort to Min-ho, who looked grateful.

Nayeon sat down beside Min-ho, her voice gentle but firm. "Min-ho, I know you're disappointed, but you played amazingly."

Min-ho shook his head, his voice filled with self-reproach. "No, I didn't. I let everyone down. I didn't work hard enough."

"That's not true," Nayeon insisted. "I've seen you practice. I've seen you put in the hours and the effort. Sometimes, it's just about luck, and today wasn't your day. But that doesn't mean you didn't do your best."

Min-ho looked at her, his eyes reflecting his internal struggle. "But we lost so badly..."

Nayeon reached out, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "This loss doesn't define you. It's just one game, and there will be many more. What matters is how you come back from this. I believe in you, Min-ho. I know you can do much better in the future."
