Over the next few weeks, Taehyung continued to make his presence felt in subtle ways. He would leave notes in her locker, small gifts on her desk, and always watched her from a distance. Y/n felt trapped in a web of his making, unable to break free yet inexplicably drawn to him.

One evening, as she was studying at the library, Taehyung appeared, sitting across from her. He didn't say anything, just watched her with that same intensity. Y/n tried to focus on her books, but his gaze was too distracting.

"Why are you doing this?" she finally asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Taehyung leaned forward, his eyes dark and unreadable. "Because I want you, Y/n. And I always get what I want."

Y/n's breath caught in her throat. She knew she should be afraid, but there was something thrilling about his words, something that made her heart race with anticipation. She was caught in his web, and deep down, she knew there was no escape.

As the weeks passed, Taehyung's grip on Y/n tightened. His gifts became more personal—her favorite flowers, books she had mentioned liking. Despite her initial resistance, she found herself anticipating his gestures. His presence had become a paradoxical comfort and a source of anxiety.

One evening, as Y/n was leaving the library, she saw Taehyung waiting by the entrance. Her heart skipped a beat. She had come to expect his omnipresence, but it still unnerved her.

"Need a ride home?" he asked, his voice smooth and reassuring.

Y/n nodded, feeling a strange mix of fear and excitement. She followed him to his car, the familiar luxury vehicle that had become a symbol of their unsettling connection.

During the drive, Taehyung's demeanor was unusually relaxed. He chatted casually about school, his tone almost normal, but Y/n knew better. She could sense the underlying tension, the way his eyes flickered to her every few seconds.

"Why do you do all this?" she asked suddenly, her voice breaking the silence.

Taehyung glanced at her, his eyes softening. "Because I care about you, Y/n. I want to protect you."

Y/n looked out the window, her mind a whirlwind of confusion. "It doesn't feel like protection. It feels like you're trying to control me."

Taehyung's grip on the steering wheel tightened. "I'm not trying to control you. I'm trying to keep you safe. You don't understand the dangers out there."

Y/n turned to face him, her eyes filled with defiance. "I can take care of myself, Taehyung. I don't need you watching over me."

He pulled the car over to the side of the road, turning to face her fully. "You don't get it, do you? This world isn't safe for someone like you. You're too pure, too good. There are people who would take advantage of that."
