The next day at school, Y/n tried to push the previous night's events from her mind. She focused on her classes, immersing herself in studies to avoid thinking about Taehyung. She knew avoiding him wouldn't be easy, but she had to try.
During lunch, she sat with Jina and Nayeon, who were both eager to hear how she was doing.
"You look tired," Jina noted, concern etched on her face.
"I didn't sleep well," Y/n admitted, picking at her food. "I keep thinking about what happened with Taehyung."
"You did the right thing by standing up to him," Nayeon reassured her. "He had no right to do what he did."
"I know, but I'm worried about what he might do next. He's not the kind of person who takes rejection lightly."
"You just need to be careful," Jina advised. "Stick with us and don't go anywhere alone. We'll keep an eye out for him."
Y/n nodded, grateful for their support. The bell rang, signaling the end of lunch, and they headed to their next class.
Throughout the day, Y/n couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. She glanced over her shoulder several times, but Taehyung was nowhere in sight.
After school, Y/n decided to visit the library to study. It was a place she usually found solace in, surrounded by books and the quiet hum of concentration. She found a secluded corner and spread out her notes, trying to focus.
Half an hour into her study session, she felt a presence nearby. She looked up to find Taehyung standing at the end of the aisle, his eyes fixed on her. Her heart raced, and she quickly gathered her things, intending to leave.
"Y/n, wait," Taehyung called out, his voice low and controlled.
She ignored him and walked faster, heading for the exit. But Taehyung was faster, intercepting her before she could reach the door.
"We need to talk," he insisted, his tone brooking no argument.
"There's nothing to talk about," she replied, trying to sidestep him. "Just leave me alone."
"Y/n, please," he said, his voice softer now, almost pleading. "I didn't mean to scare you. I just... I don't know what came over me."
She looked at him, surprised by the vulnerability in his voice. But she remembered the way he had looked at her, the possessiveness in his eyes.
"Taehyung, this has to stop," she said firmly. "Whatever you think this is, it's not going to happen. I'm not interested, and you need to respect that."
His expression hardened, the softness replaced by a cold resolve. "You don't understand, Y/n. You are made for me. A perfect woman like you deserves to be with me." He sounded arrogant
"That's not for you to decide," she shot back. "I'm not some possession you can claim. I have my own life, and you need to stay out of it."
She pushed past him and hurried out of the library, her heart pounding. She knew she had to be careful, but she also knew she couldn't let him intimidate her. She had to stand her ground, no matter how scared she was.
