RWBY The Dark Queen

Ambushed

Ruby reacted Quickly raising her sword and blocking the blow from the Skink at the last moment before kicking it away. 

The Skink leaped back before Before roaring as it charged again ready to stab at her. 

But Ruby raised her sword breathing heavily as she prepared to block the attack.

The Skink roared at her as it charged forward its sword raised to swipe at her. 

But Ruby was able to dodge the Attack Counter strike with a blow of her own stabbing the Skink and cutting him down. 

She then looked around at the chaos as she saw a horde of Skinks and Saurus coming in from the side and slamming in to their exposed flank. 

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!" Ruby yelled in a panic when Aldrix growled annoyed 

"DAMN IT..ITS A FUCKING AMBUSH!!" Aldrix yelled 

"What?" Ruby asked confused 

"Its a ambush...we have been fucking tricked!!" Aldrix yelled confusing Ruby 

"What...Ambushed?" Ruby asked 

"Yeah..ambushed." Aldrix responded 

"Where the hell did this army come from!!" Ruby called out 

"I Don't know but you need pull our forces back slowly before we get overrun!!" Aldrix yelled 

"What, but we're so close, just a little more and." Ruby said 

"Ruby we have already been pushed back near the gate if we lose that we can lose most of our army as well as the Skeleton King and The Tower we need to pull back now!!" Aldrix told her firmely

Ruby didn't respond and instead looking around at the carnage around her seeing her Warriors attempting to hold back the line only to be hammered again and again by oncoming hordes of lizardmen troops. 

Then with an annoyed sigh she called out to the Troops yelling. 

"RETREAT...RETREAT!!!" Ruby called out to the Soldiers "WE'VE BEEN AMBUSHED..WE HAVE BEEN AMBUSHED!!"

"What!!" The King said turning around just enough to see the ongoing battle outside "Oh come on ive been holding this damn door for nothing!!" 

He then turned around to the battle inside seeing The Tower Leading the forces agaisnt the Defending lizardmen on the verge of breaking through 

And with a annoyed huff he called out to him saying "OI TOWER WE GOTTA LEAVE..ITS AN AMBUSH!!"

The Tower was about to strike down on a wounded skink when he heard the call causing him to look to the King "What dose thy mean to tell the Tower." 

"ITS AN AMBUSH YOU IDIOT...WE HAVE BEEN FUCKING DUPED HARD, GET GOING WE GOTTA LEAVE THIS SHIT!!" The King said 

The Tower then stared for a moment before sighing as he turned to the orcs and skeletons still assaulting the hammered defenders. 

"MEMBERS OF THE ARMY WE HAVE NO CHOICE WE MUST FLEA NOW WHILE WE STILL CAN...WE HAVE BEEN LURED INTO A TRAP BY OUR ENIMIES!!" 

This caused the Skeletons and Orcs to turn around ceasing their assault as they heard the sound of battle outside.

"WHAT..WE'VE BEEN FLANKED!!" an Orc yelled 

"HOLY SHIT, WE'RE GONNA GET FUCKING STUCK IN HERE RUN!!" A Skeleton yelled before running 

This caused a mass panic as the Orcs and Skeletons attempted to flee out side the fort before they were flanked and trapped in their. 

And the defenders seeing their opponents flea quickly took their chance to counter attack the oncoming enemy force charging forward with renewed strength slamming into their back causing many to desperately turn to fight them off.
