Ruby continued to walk forward through the rocket deserts of the canyon towards the city as Aldrix said "Okay just so we're clear..what is your plan here..like i have to know."

"Get in..get that city back, and get them to just shut up..and let me do my Job." Ruby Responded

She then continued her march until Aldrix spoke up again saying "Im impressed with you back thier...didn't think you had it in you to do that." 

"I know..i wanted to be different thier...to show them that their was a better way to live but.." Ruby said before sighing as she admitted "You was right...their vile violent freaks..they only listen to the next blood bath." 

"I'm sorry you had to find out the hard way kiddo." Aldrix admitted "I never wanted you to deal with all that but....not much i can do when you don't listen to me." 

"Yeah yeah i know." Ruby admitted with a sigh "But i just wished they...just listined to me for once...is that so much to ask from the them." 

"No..no it isn't kiddo but with those lot you might as well be asking them to not fight...thats just not how they do things...they listen to strength, not smarts and without strength they will never follow you...it sucks but..thats just how they do things and the sooner you understand that the better."

Ruby nodded as she continued forward keeping her eyes out for sounds of Lizardmen or any wildlife. 

She could hear the occasional sound of a long distances screech of a wyvern or the chirping of a crow..or what ever the underworld version of a bird. 

This caused her to clutch her sword close not wanting to get jumped by any lizardmen raiding parties or angry wild life. 

All around her she could slightly feel like she was being watch and so asked Aldrix. 

"Hey uhh Aldrix you uhh...feeling anybody around us right now...anyone i should feel worried about." 

"None i can see so far kiddo...though i would keep a look out encase anyone did come...last thing we need is you getting caught off guard and taken out while your backs turned." 

"Yeah i know" Ruby said as she continued on her walk to the Fort "I just hope this is going to be easy and not to much of a threat to deal with."

 But while she walked forward she didn't notice a small group of Skink scouts marching past when they saw her. 

"Hey its the Queen of the Skeleton Tribe." One of the Skinks said watching her walking by 

"What the hell is she doing out here." Another Skink said 

"Doesn't matter we gotta tell the boss..if we can cut the head off the snake the body dies and we can finally force the the Skeleton Tribe to surrender." The Leader Skink said 

This caused them all to cheer slightly as the leader ordered "Alright lads you know the drill back to the camp...we need alert the boss."

Then without a second word the skinks ran back to thier Cold Ones hopping onto them before thry took off into the distance to alert the commander before Ruby could make it. 

Meanwhile Ruby would continue on her way gripping her sword as she prepared to enter the canyon.

But before she did she took on e last look at the camp which was far in the distance before making hey way forward with a single goal in mind. 

If they wanted a reason to follow her then shell give one...and shell give them a good one. 

And with that she went off moving deeper into the canyon.
