"Alright guys, let's get down to business!" Mr. Shue announced to the choir room, "First, let's welcome back Noah Puckerman," a loud applause erupted as the Spanish teacher continued,"Puck, I hope your time in juvy has taught you a lesson or two about right and wrong?"
"Are you kidding me? I ruled that place. All I did was crack skulls and lift weights all day," Puck claimed, rolling his eyes as Ollie raised a brow knowing that was far from the truth
"Oh, what a catch, can't believe I ever let you go," Quinn mumbled sarcastically as the rest of the glee club snickered
"And now, drumroll, Finn! Because I have in my hand our competition for sectionals next month. First, the acapella group from the all-boys private school in Westerville, the Dalton Academy Warblers-" Will continued but was cut off by Santana who scoffed
"Okay, hold up. Like a million awesome gay jokes just popped into my head," Santana jokes, earning an angry look from Kurt as Ollie gave her a stern look
"And the other team to beat, the Hipsters. A first-year clubfrom the township continuing education programme. Now, they are a glee club composed entirely of elderly people getting their highschool GEDS,"
"Is that legal?" Artie questioned, his teacher sighing at being cut off again
"How are we supposed to compete against a bunch of adorable old people?" Mercedes asked
"Are you kidding?" Puck dismissed,"Brittle bones. Give one of those old ladies a good luck pat on the rear, it'll shatter her pelvis," he said confidently, causing Ollie to sigh
"Noah please," Ollie mumbled, shaking his head at the boy as everyone laughed at the two
"Moving on," Mr. Shue said, "Since this seems to get you guys jazzed about sectionals last year, I wanna make this week our second annual boys versus girls tournament. So! Split up into two groups, and, uh, I'm not tossing the baby out with the bathwater here-"
"I've totally done that," Brittany airily stated, earning weird stares as their teacher only continued naturally
"We're just making an adjustment. Boys, you are now doing songs traditionally sung by girls groups. And girls, try some classic rock. Uh, the Who, the Stones. The more opposite your choice, the more choice you get,"
"Am I dying or did Shue just have a good idea?" Kurt mumbled excitedly, earning a chuckle from his boyfriend
"You're not dying on my watch," Ollie joked, the pale boy turning to him with a wide smile
"I'm willing to die right now, if you're the last face I see," Kurt whispered, nudging Ollie as he chuckled shaking his head
"You cheesy sunshine," Ollie whispered back, the two not noticing the pair of eyes that watched them closely
Sam stared at the two for a while, a smudge of envy in his eyes before the bell rang shaking him from it. He was a bit unnerved by how, not only Kurt, but everyone had such a close relationship with Ollie. He wanted that so bad but couldn't help but feel like he had no chances. The prince, from what he'd heard people call him, was always busy and on the move. The only moments he got to make a connection was in their shared math class and he tried his hardest to make the boy his friend. He personally thought they were beginning a cute friendship but he didn't know how the other viewed him.
He'd also be lying to everyone and himself he said he didn't have a crush on Ollie Berry.
