A/N: Please don't be a silent reader and enjoy❤️❤️

It had been a week since the whole April fiasco and that marked two weeks and three days since Kurt stopped all communication with Ollie or in both of their cases seventeen long crying nights. Though the two teens had only met two months and some days ago, they grew closer than many would think. Telling each other things they've never told anyone, they found comfort in each other, and most of all they gained feelings.

Ollie was oblivious to his own feelings for the pale boy. Of course he knew that he felt very strong feelings for him but isn't that the case for all friendships. Ollie felt strong feelings for Santana, Mike, Noah, Brittany, Quinn, Mercedes, and that was normal. Or so he thought, because now the prince wasn't so sure, but what he was sure about was that he desperately needed Kurt talking to him again.

Because he didn't know what he was gonna do if he didn't.

Kurt on the other hand was feeling extremely guilty. He saw the show Ollie put on during school, the smile he shined only for it to fade once the people turned away, the dull eyes that revealed his pain no matter what his expression tried to show, and he knew it was all his fault. Yeah, Puck was the one to threaten him but in no way did he have to end their friendship, and with no explanation. But what was he supposed to tell him? That Puck would kill him if they got too close? No, Kurt wouldn't destroy another friendship to save his own, he couldn't.

The more Kurt thought on it though, yes he was more than sad that he and Ollie's friendship would be no more, but now he no longer had a reason to think he had a chance with the prince of all people. He could finally focus on one crush and that crush was Finn Hudson.

"COMPETITION." Mr. Shue excitedly addressed the class, while pinning pictures on a board, "Every one of these people or elements was a champion in their own right. But they used competing with each other to make themselves even better." He finished.

"I don't understand how lightning is in competition with an above-ground swimming pool?" Kurt asked.

Will only sighed before saying, "Just go with it. You guys have become complacent. You were great at the invitational, but you got to up your game if you want to get through sectionals." Then clapped his hands together, before continuing, "Okay, split up. Guys on the left side, girls on the right side." No one moved, not really into the competition. Mr. Shue only sighed saying," Let's go, come on. Alright."

The club started to move reluctantly, boys and girls separating while Ollie moved to the piano, grateful he wasn't truly a part of the club.

"All right," Mr. Schuester continued, but stopped when he saw Kurt walking towards the group of girls. "Kurt." Will motioned with his head to the group of boys and Kurt reluctantly trudged back with them. "Here's the deal. Two teams. Boys versus girls. One week from today, you will each perform a mash-up of your choice."

"What's a mash-up?" Puck asked confused causing Ollie to laugh at him, shaking his head

"A mash-up is when you put two songs together, Noah" Ollie told him with an amused grin, chuckling at his confused expression

"Ollie's exactly right, A mash-up is when you take two songs and mash them together to make an even richer explosion of musical expression." Mr. Schue explained excitedly, giving Ollie a proud grin  "Boys will perform on Tuesday, girls the next day. I want you guys to go all out, okay. Costumes, choreography. Whoever wins the competition gets to choose the number that we do for sectionals."

"Wait," Rachel said, raising her hand. "Who's going to be the judge? Your gender makes you biased."

"Rach, if it was a woman then she'd be biased too, from what you're saying" Ollie stated, giving his sister a disappointed look, The boys nodded their heads in agreement while Rachel avoided her brothers eyes
