CHAPTER SIX
~*~

AVA
I was a little bit nervous to tell mummy that I saw her old mean friend Daniel on my field trip to the aquarium today but I never keep secrets from mummy, I always tell her everything. She's my best friend! I know she would be sad if I didn't tell her.

OLIVIA
"Ava! How was the aquarium?" Ava's smile quickly drops after she pulls away from our hug. I try my best to remain composed and to not look upset from her sad smile. "Baby, what's wrong?" I softly ask as a few tears fall from her eyes, she quickly sniffles as I wipe them away. I embrace her tightly as I lift her up, slowly swaying as I brush my fingers though her hair. "It's really hard to tell you because I know how sad you will be." I feel my heart breaking at the big emotions that Ava was feeling. "Please tell me, sweetheart. I don't want you to be so sad. It makes me more sad when you're hurting, I'll be okay." A long sigh escapes from Ava "That guy. Daniel. He was at the aquarium." I felt my heart drop "Did he upset you, darling?" My eyes drift to Aliza on the playground in the distance before returning back to Ava. "He kept looking at me. I told Mr Mac that you didn't like him and then he tried to talk to me." I soothingly rubbed my hand up at down her back, repeatedly kissing the top of her head "I'm glad that you told me, honey. I'm so sorry you're dealing with these big emotions." Ava's arms tightened around me "I don't know how but he knew my full name.. It scared me when he yelled it out." I was going to kill him! How could he scare her so badly when she was so excited to go on a field trip. She's not going to want to go on the next one. "I did really like the aquarium besides that. I loved the turtles!" I let out a long sigh "If I see him again. I'll tell him to never bother you again, baby girl. Mummy will always keep you safe." Ava slowly tilted her head to look at me, giving me a small smile "I know, mummy. I love you so much!" How could I get so lucky to have such an understanding daughter. "I love you more than you could ever know." I smile back, planting lots of kisses on her cheek. "Aliza, come on. We're going home now!" I called out as she comes running over into my other arm "Okay mama." Aliza's concern shows as she notices Ava in my arms. "Sissy, what's wrong?" Ava sniffles, wiping her eyes before turning to Aliza "Nothing. I just missed Mummy." Awe my sweet girl didn't want to upset her baby sister. "Oh! How was your field trip?" Aliza giggles, jumping up and down "Good. I saw sharks, fish, turtles, starfish, octopuses and lots of animals!" I lifted Aliza up into my other arm as we headed for the car.
