third person pov

"It was here, right here," Max told the group.

"A grandfather clock?" Nancy asked.

"It was so real," Max inquired.

"And Y/n..you saw one too?" Nancy looked at the girl.

"Yeah, but on the other hallway."

"When I got closer, I just..woke up." Max explained.

"Me too."

"It's like a trance or something. Exactly what Eddie said happened to Chrissy," Dustin said.

Max turned to look at everyone, "That's not even the bad part."

"Fred and Chrissy, they both came to Miss Kelley for help. Y/n and I do too. They were both having headaches. Bad headaches that wouldn't go away. Y/n, do you get them too?"

Everyone looked up at Y/n and she nodded.

"And the nightmares." Max added.

Steve thought about all the times he woke up to Y/n crying after what had happened. She had even slept with him sometimes.

"Trouble sleeping. They'd wake up in a cold sweat. And then they started seeing things. Bad things. From their past. These visions, they just kept on getting worse and worse until eventually everything ended."

"Vecna's curse," Robin said.

"Chrissy's headaches started a week ago. Fred six days ago. I've been having them for five days. I don't know how long I have. How long Y/n has either. All I know is that for Fred and Chrissy, they both died less than 24 hours after their first vision," Max's voice was starting to get shaky.

"And we just saw that goddamn clock so..looks like we're gonna die tomorrow."

After Max said that, a clang was heard in the distance. Everyone turned to look at the door to the office.

"Stay here," Steve told everyone as he walked away. He grabbed a lamp next to the door frame.

Y/n followed close behind him, ready to use her powers. Everyone else followed as well. The clanging noise continued, until it got closer.

Steve yelled and held the lamp up, about to attack. Everyone yelled out loud. Until they saw who it was.

"Lucas??!"

"It's me!!" Lucas yelled frightened.

"Jesus, what's wrong with you?" Steve exclaimed.

"I'm sorry," Lucas huffed out of breath.

"I could've taken you out with this lamp!" Steve threw the lamp to the side.

Lucas held a finger up and proceeded to try and catch his breath, "We've got a code red."

"What?" Steve asked.

Lucas walked up to Dustin, "Dustin. I've been with Jason, Patrick, and Andy, and they've gone totally off the rails. They're trying to capture Eddie, and they think you know where he is. You're in terrible danger."
