Chapter 23 (Love and desires)

            Damian thought Lamia will reconsider and come back to him but it was obvious he was serious about it, why did he have to act like that to his heartbeat. Mina warning didn't even reach Damian ears, he thought that perhaps Lamia was scared when he woke up seeing Mina he pretended not to know her when actually they were close but it doesn't matter, he has to return back to school to face the music.

    " Mina I am returning to school they may be looking for me and I can't let my absence be known for long." Mina agreed but she warned Damian to be careful and after a heartfelt hug Damian left the cabin, returning to Ivory high.

   Meanwhile Lamia and Cathy ended up been seatmate and this made Michael furious but consciously he approached Lamia, " Lamia thanks the God for protecting you, you are alright I thought I lost my beloved friend."

   Lamia hugged him back, " I am back Mike and I am definitely not going anywhere so don't worry." Michael smiled and waves at Cathy and giving Lamia sign about the seat and realizing him and Mike were seatmates once he spoke.

   " Sorry Mike but Catherine is sitting here from now maybe nextime, I hope you are not angry." Michael just faked smile and nodded leaving with pure disdain, on the other hand Hadrain kept glancing at Lamia he was beyond happy knowing that he was alright but he knew because of the terrible things he has done to him becoming Friends with Lamia was impossible not long after the class teacher came in and seeing that Lamia was back the usual vibes in the class resumed but the hatred among others was increasing.

     Catherine knew the new found she was getting was due to her appearance, to her this facade were nothing but bullshit but her attention was the high school kings and queens it was what she ever hoped for she has this talent but wasn't able to show it, maybe this was that moment.

   " Lamia I think I want to sign up for the competition, the high school kings and queens." Lamia who was busy writing down a formula was shocked at Cathy proposal.

   " What, why do you know that competition was as wild as it's name you will be hated, dragged and constantly monitored please Cathy I don't want you to put yourself in danger."

     Cathy smiled bringing out this beautiful dimple's no one knew she has, " Lamia I know you are trying to protect me but the world isn't all rainbows and unicorns, I have a dream to sing be among the music elite and since I have only my grandma I want her to live a happy and long life before she dies, I want her to see me fulfilled, please Lamia I can only do this with your support."

     Lamia held her two hands, " what are friends for, of course I will help in anyway I can." Lamia words made Cathy to feel bad here she was falling for someone who obviously sees her as a friend how painful then Abigail approached them and sat close to them in an empty seat.

    " You guys are okay I was worried, Cathy thanks my maker your true beauty wasn't affected you look stunning and you Lamia I am truly glad you are here."

    Lamia stared at Abigail coldly, " really are you, stop pretending Abi we both knows you don't care you are a Back stabbing bitch so stop this facade of yours and leave my side."

    Abigail let out a scrowl, " you think you are safe who will save you and Catherine I regret helping you, you are nothing but an ungrateful bitch, remember when you were bullied in the hall by Lucinda who saved you, you bitch I said who saved you."

    Abigail was walking down the beautiful corridor, she must do whatever she can to rise up in this wretched place and hearing a mournful cry she hurriedly ran to the scene only to see her rival Lucinda and besides here we're Slyvia and Emily. Kneeling was Catherine, she was crying and her body was covered in feaces.
