Chapter 19

Ivy

I was feeling a lot better now. It's been about a week days since I blacked out. We were officially on our first break. I was currently hanging out with Holden in his hotel room. We are all leaving in 2 days to go see family. I'll probably be going back to my and Niall's apartment in London. I haven't been in touch with my family really at all.

Holden and I haven't left each other's side at all other than when he went on stage. He's been treating me like I was a true princess. I'm super thankful for everything he's done for me. I feel like a completely different person around him. Every time he smiles at me, I can't help but get all giggly. I feel like I'm a teenage girl again. It may be weird to say this, but I have a massive crush on him. I like him and there's nothing I want to do to stop it.

"So what's your plans for the break?" He asked me. We were sitting in my bed watching TV.

"I'm probably going to go back and rot at home." I replied looking over to see him already looking at me.

"You aren't going to see your family? Niall said he's going to be staying in Mullingar for a few weeks with his."

"Well my family doesn't exactly like me." I told him. "What will you be doing for the break?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"I'm going to go visit my grandma in New York. I'll probably stay there for awhile."

"I've never been to New York. What's it like?" I asked. I really wanted to listen to him talk.

"It's amazing. There's so much to see and do. I think you'd love it." He smiled.

"It sounds fun." I laid down beside him. He quickly laid down beside me to where he was still propped up and the pillows. He leaned down and pressed a kiss to my temple. Our relationship is weird. He does sweet things for me all the time. He holds my hand and gets me flowers. He kisses my hand and my forehead often. He hasn't kissed my lips since that day in the closet. I am secretly wishing he just would already. We've been on a few dinner outings. I don't know if they count as dates or not.

"Why don't you come with me? My grandma would love you and you have nothing to do in London." He said out of no where.

"What? Holden I can't go to New York with you for a month." I told him.

"Why not? It'll be fun. Besides, you'll be alone in London and I don't like that." He tried to convince me to go.

"You know what? You're right. Make sure it's okay with your grandma and I'll go." I was convinced. It didn't take much.

"She won't mind. I bet she'll be excited." He said

"These past few months have been really fun." I told him. "Thank you for not hating me and giving me a job." I said

"Ivy I could never hate you and you're welcome." He smiled down at me.

"I need to get a plane ticket." I was excited.

"I already got one for you. I was hoping you'd say yes." He scratched his head

"You wanted me to come anyways?" I asked

"Yeah. I didn't want to be away from you for a whole month. I might've died." He laughed

"Holden what am I gonna do with you?" I asked rolling over and propping myself up on his chest. My face now level with his.

"You could let me kiss you?" He said it in more of a question. I smiled and bit my lip. He slowly lowered his head and his lips met mine. I would never get used to that feeling. He was perfect in every way. I felt his hand start running up my back. I adjusted myself so he was sitting up with his back on the backboard of the bed and I was straddling his hips. The kiss was getting heated. Our lips were starting to move faster and both of us were struggling to get air. He pulled away and looked at me.

"Ivy we gotta stop." He motioned to his lap. I instantly got what he meant and started laughing.

"Okay okay" I said pecking his lips one last time before sitting beside him.

"Ivy I have a question." He said looking at me.

"What's up?" I was getting nervous.

"I know this isn't the most romantic way to do this, but I really like you. I want you all to myself and I want everyone to know that." He said quickly.

"I really like you too Holden." I smiled. The confession was put and I was internally screaming. He likes me too!

"Ivy can I be your boyfriend?" He asked me. I wasn't expecting it at all.

"Holden of course you can." I said smiling like a fool.  There was no hesitation in my answer. I wanted him. It was finally official. Samuel Holden Jaffe is my boyfriend and I'm his girlfriend. That feels so weird to say. I love it.

"Oh good. I was nervous that you'd say no." He said pulling me back on his lap. I leaned down and kissed him again. This one was slower and more intimate. I was really happy in this moment. I moved back down to the bed and laid on his chest. That day was full of kisses, conversation, and laughing. He makes me extremely happy and I'm so happy with him here. I feel safe around him.

Holden

She was officially my girlfriend and she was going to be coming home with me. I couldn't have been any more excited. How did I get this lucky? She's amazing and perfect in every way. I slept in my hotel room with her beside me last night. I don't want to sleep any other way. I never want to wake up without her beside me again.

We leave tomorrow morning for New York. I told my grandma that I'd be bringing Ivy and my grandma is so excited. She must know I'm serious about Ivy since I'm bringing her home.

"Ivy my grandma is excited to meet you." I whispered in her ear. She was asleep with her head on my chest. It was still early and I didn't want to wake her up. "You might have been the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm telling you this now because you're asleep and you can't hear any of it. I'm so excited to tell everyone that we're together. You're mine and I'm yours. I'll always be yours Ivy. You have my entire heart and you can do whatever you want to with it. You make me so extremely happy and I'll do anything to make you happy. You scared me to death when you got super sick last week. I love your dedication to me and your job. You are so strong and I'm so excited to see how far you'll go." I poured my entire heart out to her while she's sleeping. I didn't want to scare her away so I didn't tell her.

Ivy's phone started ringing right as I finished talking. I grabbed it and answered for her. "Hello?" I said into the phone.

"Holden is that you? What are you doing with her phone? Why are you with her this early? Where is she?" He threw out questions like it was an interview.

"Niall she's asleep. She didn't want to be alone last night so I invited her to my room." I didn't completely lie to him.

"Shit. Okay thank you. Tell her that we are leaving today at 3 or 4 if she wants to say bye for the next month. She can always come with me to my mum's." He said.

"I'll tell her when she gets up."

"Okay thank you. Bye." He said quickly before hanging up. I looked down to where she was sleeping. She's gorgeous. When she sleeps she does this little nose scrunch and it's the cutest thing. She looks so much more at ease when she's sleeping. It hit me right then and there. It hit so hard it felt like someone punched me in the gut. I may be slowly falling in love with her.
