Chapter 6

Ivy

I woke up the next morning with a killer headache. I opened my eyes and panic shot through me. I didn't remember anything from last night. Looking around, I saw that I was in a hotel room and in someone else's shirt. Panicking, I looked around and saw my dress on the floor next to Nialls shirt. I looked to my right and saw Niall passed out on the other bed. What happened last night? The last thing I remember is drinking at a local pub. I've never been that drunk before.

"Ivy what happened?" I heard from my right.

"Niall talk quietly please" I pleaded.

"Whose shirt is that?" He sat up staring at my shirt.

"I don't know..." I replied looking down.

I looked around the room for my phone. It was sat nicely on my table and plugged in. I looked for any indication on who it was that brought us here.

"Ivy I think it was Holden." Niall said out of no where

"How do you think it was him?" I questioned

He looked my shirt and said, "That's new Del Water Gap merch. I've seen it."

"Oh my god, Niall are you serious?" I shouted "That doesn't mean it was him."

He winced at my volume, "I'll ask him about it later. Come on we have to leave."

I stood up and Niall yelled, "Ivy pull your shirt down please."

"Oh my god Niall I am so sorry! I didn't know I had no pants on!" I yelled as I scurried into the bathroom. I had grabbed my dress on the way to the bathroom. It had throw up all over it.

"Niall do you have any extra pants by chance?" I called out from the bathroom.

"No why?" he asked from his spot on his bed

"I can't leave with no pants on and my dress has puke on it."

"Oh, well, stay here and I'll go grab you some." He said as he left.

Great. Now I'm stuck in a random hotel with no pants and a shirt that I had no idea where it came from. I went and grabbed my phone and beside it there was medicine and a water with a note.

Hope you feel better in the morning

Confused I sat on the bed. I don't trust the medicine. I don't know who put it there. I decided to throw it away. It was half an hour later before Niall returned.

"Oh my god finally!" I yelled at him.

"Sorry I got hungry." He said as he held his hands up.

"Yeah and how do you think I feel. We live 5 minutes away" I joked as I grabbed my outfit from him.

A good thing about Niall is he knows fashion. He brought me cute baggy jeans and a small baby tee.

"I figured you would be that's why I got your favorite. Double chocolate chip muffin." He said as he held out a bag.

"You are the best thank you!" I ran and grabbed it. My mouth was watering,

I ate and changed and we checked out. I kept the shirt because 1 it smelt really good, and 2 it was cute and comfy.

We got home and we were siting at the kitchen island. We both had water and some take out.

"Ivy I need you to sign this contract" Niall told me as he slid the paper over to me.

"What's it for?"

"Just legal stuff and expectations. Make sure you read it." He said and pointed at me.

"Okay okay. Can I take a nap first?" I whined

"No you need to sign it so I can get it to the team." He replied

"Fine." I said and started to walk away.

When I got to my room, I sat down with the contract and started to skim through it. All I saw was tour dates and venue expectations. Shrugging, I signed it. I sat on my phone for a few minutes before walking the paper back to Niall.

"Here you go." I slapped the paper beside him.

"Did you even read it?" He questioned me

"Yes I saw venue expectations and stuff." I shrugged him off

"Okay. I'm trusting you."

I smiled and walked back to my room. I grabbed medicine for my headache that won't go away and took a nap. I'm exhausted.

I woke up a few hours later because someone was calling me. I rolled over and saw it was Niall.

"What do you want?" I rasped

"Glad you are alive" he laughed

"Yeah yeah what do you want?"

"We are leaving in a few days for tour and you are officially employed." He practically yelled in my ear.

"That's great Niall I'm excited" was all I managed to come up with.

I'm secretly terrified that I won't like Holden. What if he doesn't like me? Then what? He seems like a nice guy but I haven't talked to him really. Niall likes him, but in my defense, Niall likes almost everyone.

"Ivy Bug you sound nervous. Don't be it'll be fun!" Niall projected

How does he haves much energy right now. I feel like I've been hit by a double decker bus.

"Niall I'm excited. Now I'm going back to bed."

"You need to pack." He tried to say before I hung up.

I have plenty of time to pack. For now I am going to bed rot. I turned on my TV and flipped the channels for what felt like hours. I eventually landed on cartoons that I used to watch when I was a kid. I got on my phone and started scrolling. I saw Del Water Gap had announced that he was coming on tour with us. I swear his shirt looked so familiar. It's like I had seen it in a store or something.
