Knot my tie

Isa introduced Ricardo to Racheal. Throughout the introduction, Racheal couldn't take her eyes off him. She kept staring and smiling sheepishly. Isa had to cough to get her attention.  Racheal noticed how often Ricardo would stare at Isa and how she would smile whenever their eyes met. She winked at Isa as she stood up to leave. She wanted to give them space.

" Why watch me from your car when you can walk up to me instead "She asked when Racheal left.

Ricardo scratched his head. " I'm shy"

" What?" Isa laughed. " Shy?" She couldn't believe it. Ricardo watched her in amusement. " How can a grown man like you be shy?"

" Well I am" he said. " I wouldn't know what to say if I walked up to you"

" Why?" She asked " I'm just a normal girl, I'm not going to bite your head off"

Ricardo chuckled. " I know now"

They talked until it was dark and Ricardo stood up to leave.

" I should get going" He said.

" Yeah" she said as she stood up too. They walked in silence to his car.

" It was nice talking to you Isa" he said.

" Same here" She replied trying to hide the smile on her face.

" I'll see you some other time" he said and opened the car. He was about to get in when he stopped and turned to her. He brought out his phone. " Can I....get your number?"

Isa smiled at how shy he was. " Sure" she said and took his phone, dialed in her number and returned it.

" Goodnight" He smiled and got into his car. Isa walked back into the house and went to her room. Just as she laid on the bed, her phone beep.

" Goodnight Isa".

It was a text from an unknown number but immediately she saw it she already knew who it was. She smiled as she dropped the phone, covering her face with the bedsheet.

Racheal got to work completely drenched. She was pissed. It was her first day at work and she wanted to impress her boss but how could she do that when she wasn't only drenched but one hour late. She got out of the elevator and walked towards a door with a sign "DIRECTOR'S OFFICE" on it. She knocked lightly.

" Come in" She heard a cold voice say. She walked into the office trembling with cold.

" Good morning Sir" She greeted.

" Who are you?" He said as he raised his head to look at her. Racheal eyes widened in shock. He was a handsome man but with thin lips and a perfect jawline.

" Your.... secretary sir" She stuttered.

He glanced at his wristwatch. " You're an hour late" He said sternly.

" Am so sorry sir. I didn't know it was going to rain" Racheal replied.

" If you are late on your first day, how am I sure you won't be late every other day" he asked staring coldly into her eyes.

" Am sorry sir" Racheal apologized

" I have a meeting in ten minute. Go dry yourself" He said looking back at his computer

" Yes sir" Racheal answered as she turned to leave.

" Before you go" he said abruptly which made Racheal to stop in her track. to look at him.

" Knot my tie"He deadpanned.

Racheal was shocked. She stared at him. It was then that she noticed that his tie was just hung around his neck.

" Yes sir" she said walking towards him and dropping her bag on the table. She walked over to where he was seated and he turned on his chair to face her. Racheal got a better view of his cold but very handsome face. He had very dark eyes that she couldn't stop staring into.

A scowl appeared on his face " What are you waiting for?"

Racheal apologized as she began to knot his tie but she got distracted so many time as she found every part of his face very attracting

" All done sir" she said taking two steps backwards.

He turned on his seat to face his computer again " You can go" He dismissed her

Racheal nodded, picked up her bag and as she was walking out of his office her eyes caught a view of the nameplate on his desk.

" CEO. Lorenzo Cardinal"

The meeting went well. But all the while the meeting was going on, she was busy staring at her boss. It was about the way he spoke and moved his body for her. He spoke with great confidence and moved his body elegantly.

They walked into his office and Lorenzo sat on his chair.

"What's next on my schedule?" He asked loosening the tie around his neck.

Racheal looked at the tab on her hands.

" A lunch date" It was after she had said it that she realized what she said. A lunch date? With who? She looked back at the tab but didn't see a name.

" Oh....I almost forgot about that" He said. " Tell my driver to get the car ready" He said.

" Yes sir" Racheal said and walked out of the office. She didn't know why, but she wasn't happy that he was going on a date.
