Alexa recoverd from the shock and roughly pushed Maxwell away almost making him stumble.

" What did you do that for?" Alexa asked with heavy breathe.

Maxwell closed the distance between them. " I missed you babe" He said, his voice low.

Alexa stared at him, her chest rising and falling, unsure of what to say.

" I know you miss me too" Max continued placing his hand on her waist.

" I don't" Alexa said softly, staring into his eyes.

Max smirked. " Your body says otherwise" He said slipping his hand under her shirt.

Alexa froze as her breathe hitched in her throat.

Maxwell slipped his hand further under her shirt and tugged at her bra.

Alexa recoverd from the trace she was in and pushed Maxwell away again.

" Stop that!" She screamed.

Maxwell's eyes blazed with anger as he stormed towards her. " You can't keep pushing me away"

" I didn't come here for this" Alexa said making her way out of the room.

Maxwell grabbed her by her shoulder and turned her around roughly, slamming her into the door. " Where do you think you're going?" He asked, his voice cold.

" Home" Alexa answered, glaring at him.

" You're not leaving me again " Maxwell glared back at her.

" Watch me" She said turning to leave but Maxwell slammed her into the door again, making her groan.

" Let go of me" Alexa groaned trying to peel him off her.

" Never!" Maxwell said. " You're mine"

Alexa trying pushing him away but she couldn't, his grip on her was too strong. Maxwell began to trail soft kisses down her neck, muttering something she couldn't hear. When she was finally able to get one of her hand free, she slapped him on the face.

Maxwell froze on the spot, his eyes turning red. He raised his head and hit her across the face, making her fall to the ground.

" I've had enough of your tantrums " Maxwell said, yanking her up.

Alexa felt dizzy as Maxwell pulled her up. Her head was spinning and her lips were bleeding. She wasn't aware of what was happening until she felt her clothes been taken off. Her heart raced with fear as Maxwell ripped her shirt into shreds.

" Wh...what are you doing?" She asked with trembling voice but she didn't get any response. " Get off me" She yelled, thrashing about but Maxwell's grip on her kept her in place.

" Help!" She yelled. She realized she had made a big mistake by coming to his house alone, but she never thought he could do this to her. " Help!" She yelled again as he began to pull down her trousers.

Just then the door flung open and his mother walked in.

" Oh my goodness, Maxwell!" Natasha screamed as she rushed to them. " Stop that"'

" Get away" Maxwell growled, his eyes not leaving Alexa.

Natasha rushed out of the room and came back seconds later with a syringe in her hand. Maxwell who was engrossed in ripping Alexa's clothes off didn't notice when his mother stabbed the syringe into his neck.

Maxwell froze as he felt the burning liquid in his vein, but before he could turn to look at his mother, he fell on Alexa, unconscious.

" Alexa, I'm so sorry" Natasha said, pushing Max away from her.

Alexa wrapped the duvet around her body as she sobbed slightly.

" I'm so sorry" Natasha said, pulling her into a hug.

" Sorry to bother you Sir but a Miss Claudia is here to see you" Lorenzo's secretary said through the telecom.

Lorenzo groaned. " Send her in"

He was packing the files on his desk when the door to his office opened and his ex girlfriend walked in.

" Long time no see" Claudia said, swaying her hips as she approached him.

" What are you doing here Claudia?" Lorenzo asked as he placed the files at one side of his table.

Claudia feigned offence. " Is that how you treat your guest?"

Lorenzo sighed. " Take a seat"

Claudia smiled and sat down.

Lorenzo stared at the beautiful woman in front of him. He had never wanted to see her again, even though he used to be madly in love with her. They had been together for two years and during those times, she had cheated on him with his best friend. When he found out, he was so heartbroken that he thought he would never love again but when Racheal came into his life, he found out how wrong he was.

" What do you want?" He asked relaxing into his chair.

" I missed you" Claudia said seductively.

Lorenzo rolled his eyes. He couldn't believe she was still trying to get back with him even after a year of separation.

" Don't you?" She asked batting her eyelashes.

" I have a lot to do Claudia, tell me why you're here"

Claudia frowned. " Fine" She stood up. " It's my birthday next week and I'm throwing a party" She walked closer to him. " I want you to be there"

" It'd be busy next week" Lorenzo declined.

" It's on a Sunday" She pouted, standing in front of him.

Lorenzo tilted his head to the side, thinking of what to say to her.

" Please don't say no" Claudia pouted, bending over and pretending to be dusting something off his tie.

" I have the...." Racheal stopped talking immediately she took in the scene in front of her. Lorenzo was sitting lazily on his chair while a woman she didn't know was bent over him.

" Racheal" Lorenzo said sitting upright.

" Don't you know how to knock?" Claudia turned , glaring daggers at Racheal.

" I.... I'm so sorry" Racheal said turning to leave.

" Wait, don't go" Lorenzo said, standing up.

Claudia turned to him, confused.

" I'll think about your invitation and get back to you" He said to Claudia.

" What?" She was confused.

" Take your leave now, I have something important to discuss with my P. A"

Claudia was upset. She grabbed her bag from the chair and stormed out of the office but not without glaring at Racheal.

Racheal turned to leave again but Lorenzo stopped her by grabbing her arm.

" Let me explain" He said.

" You have a meeting in five minutes, I don't think we have the time" She said. " Here are the files you asked for" She gave it to him. " I'll go prepare the conference room" She said and walked out of the office.

" Fuck" Lorenzo groaned as he walked back to his seat.
