Stupid feelings

Ricardo drove Isa to a restaurant. He came down from the car, turned to the other side and opened the door.

" Thank you" Isa smiled as she came down from the car. He took her by her hands and walked her into the restaurant. Isa opened her eyes in surprise as she took in the view of the place. It was a very big and classy restaurant.

" Welcome Sir, welcome ma" A lady in uniform greeted them. " I'll walk you to your table"

Ricardo nodded and they were led to their table. He pulled out the chair for Isa and she sat down.

" Thank you" She said.

The lady handed them the menu.

" What would you like to have?" He asked Isa

Isa looked at the menu. She wasn't familiar with what was on it.

" I don't know. You decide" She said.

" We'd have today's special" Ricardo said closing the menu book.

" Alright" The lady said and walked away.

Isa looked around the restaurant. They were the only one on it.

" Why are we the only here?" She asked.

" Cos it's reserved" He answered pouring wine into her glass.

" Reserved?" Isa thought. " Does that mean he bought the whole place? Just how rich is he?"

Ricardo saw the confusion on her face. " I wanted it to be just you and I so I paid for all the seats here"

Isa smiled. Soon, the waiters began to bring their food. Before she knew it, the whole table was filled with dishes of different sorts. Her eyes widened.

" Is this just for us? Or are other people joining?"

Ricardo chuckled. " No. This is all for you Isa"

Isa raised her head to look at him and their eyes locked. She was happy at how he treats her. So specially, like she's a queen. The way he looked at her and how he smiled made isa's heart race. What's going on? She asked herself. " What's happening to me?

Jaime sat at the window in his room. Racheal had just left. She had told him about isa's date with Ricardo. He stared at the stars as he played with his fingers.

" What are they doing now?" He asked himself. He felt hurt that Ricardo was becoming so close to Isa. He felt hurt at how she looks at him when she sees him. " She had never looked at me that way"

Jack walked into the room to see his brother in deep thoughts.

" What's wrong?" He asked as he sat next to him.

" Nothing " Jaime answered without turning to look at his brother.

Jack sighed. He knew what was wrong. He heard about Isa's date from Rachel.

" When are you going to tell her?" He asked.

" Tell her what?"

" How you feel..... that you love her"

Jaime turned to look at him. " I can't do that"

" Why not?"

" We've been friends since we were kids. We grew up together. She only sees me as a friend , how do you think she'd respond if I told her?" Jaime said. " She'd probably begin to avoid me and never talk to me again"

" You never know. She might feel the same way"

" No. I won't ruin what we have because of some stupid feelings" Jaime said walking away from the window.
