As Grace ate with Philippe, she noticed that he wasn't focused. He looked lost and he hadn't even touch his food.

" Is something wrong?" Grace asked him.

" No" Phillipe answered, playing with his food.

" You're lying" Grace said dropping her spoon. " You haven't even touched your food and I know how much you like porridge"

" I just have something important to do" Philippe lied, he wanted to be with Andrea and he knew she was upset with him the other time. " I couldn't turn you down when you asked me to eat with you"

" Really?" Grace raised her brows. " Why didn't you say?" She asked but he didn't answer. " Tell me, what is it that is so important?"

" I....I have a project to finish " He stuttered.

" Project?" Grace wondered. They were in the same class and she wasn't aware that they had to do a project.

" Yes. And I have to go now" He said standing up.

" Wait" Grace stood up also. " I'd only let you go and finish this project on one condition "

" Which is?" Philippe was impatient.

" You'd help me with my chemistry assignment after school"

" Sure" Philippe agreed and ran out of the cafeteria.

Philippe looked all over the school for Andrea but couldn't find her. When he eventually did, she was in the chemistry lab. He grabbed his coat from his locker and wore it on his basketball clothes. He was about to walk into the lab when he was stopped by the chemistry teacher.

" Are you just coming?" The teacher asked him.

" No?" Philippe said, unsure of how to answer. He didn't know he had chemistry class immediately after break.

" I didn't see you when I was taking attendance " The man said looking over him.

" I..."

" You know the rules " The man said. " Lateness means you'd stand outside "

Philippe looked behind the man into the lab and noticed Andrea was standing next to Connor who seemed to be enjoying his time with her.

" I'm sorry sir, I'd be early next time " He pleaded, wanting to go inside.

" Stand outside " The man's voice was stern and Philippe had no choice but to obey. He stood outside of the lab, staring at the closed doors.

Philippe was still standing outside of the laboratory when the door opened and the students began to troop out. Andrea walked out of the lab with Connor beside her and a small smile on her lips, making Philippe wonder what he might he have said to make her smile.

" Andrea" He called.

" Hey" Andrea replied, standing in front of him.

Connor rolled his eyes at Philippe before turning to Andrea. " I'll see you tomorrow?"

" I'll think about it" She gave him a smile.

" I'll wait for your response" He gave her a side hug before walking away. He knew what Philippe was playing at but he wouldn't give him a chance. Andrea was still his, ex or not.

" Your back together?" Phillipe asked unbelievably.

" We're just friends" She replied walking away.
