Andrea and her friends walked into the classroom. She stood in front of the classroom and cleared her throat causing the whole class to turn to her.

" Now that I have your attention" She said. " I have an announcement to make"

Phillipe raised his head from the book he was reading to look at Andrea. His gaze lingered on lush lips which opened and closed as she talked. She swayed her thick brown hair as she brought out something from her bag, he paid no attention to what she was showing the class, he allowed his eyes roam her body instead.

" Here you go" Her voice brought him back to the present. She was handing out cards to some of the students.

" Make sure to be there" Andrea said to the person next to Phillipe before walking away.

" W... what about me?" Philippe asked himself as he watched her walk out of the class. He turned to the guy sitting next to him. " What's in the card?"

" It's an invite" The guy answered showing him the card. " It's Andrea's sixteenth birthday. She's throwing a pool party and she's inviting only the coolest" He smirked.

Philippe looked away from the boy and focused on the book in front of him. Of course she wouldn't invite him, he wasn't one of the coolest kids in school.

He was walking to the cafeteria during break when someone hugged him from behind. He stopped and turned to see that it was Grace.

" Where have you been I've been looking all over for you"  She said.

" Library" Phillipe answered as he began to walk. He noticed the card she was holding and stopped to ask her. " What is that?"

" Oh" Grace said holding the card so he could see it clearly. " I got invited to Andrea's pool party"

" Oh" Philippe said.

" You didn't get one?" She asked and she shook his head. " Oh"

Philippe started to walk again.

" You can have mine" She stretched it in front of me.

" Why?"

" You look like you really want to go and I don't need it" She answered.

" You're not going?"

" Yeah. I'm going out with my mom" She said.

Philippe hesitated for a while.

" Take it before I change my mind" She rolled her eyes at him.

" Thanks" He said taking the card from her.

" You owe me one" She said.

" Yeah" Philippe smiled.

Grâce blushed at the sight of Phillipe smiling. He never really smiled around her and she was glad she made him smile.

Connor walked into the living room to see his mom drinking at the bar.

" When did you get back?" He asked her.

" Few hours ago" Suzanne answered. " Where were you?"

" Around" He answered and began to walk away.

" Your school emailed your test results to me" She said.

" Okay"

" Do you want me to change your school?" Suzanne asked.
