"Yeah, I am waiting for you" I said ending the call.

I saw Sahil arriving and smiled widely, he looks handsome like always.

"How is my favourite lady?" He asked as I gave a hug.

"I am totally fine" I said and took my seat.

We had breakfast and I paid the bill as he didn't have cash today.

"I love you so much Ara" He said pecking my forehead.

"I love you even more" I said getting into the car, he was driving aimlessly because we hadn't decided a specific place to visit.

Suddenly I heard loud gunshots.

"SHIT! What's happening?" I asked looking at Sahil.

He sped up the car but ofcourse that didn't make any difference.

Suddenly the car came to a halt and Sahil looked at me with a straight face.

"They'll kill us, drive!" I pleased but he didn't react.

"Hello Mehra" I heard as the door on my side opened, they all were wearing masks.

Sahil chuckled and my eyes widened, don't tell me he is involved.

"My money?" He asked and one of the guys threw a bundle of dollars on his face.

"Sorry Sweetheart" He said and ran away.

I was just praying for Papa to save me.

"YOU ARE UNDER ARREST" It's the cops.

Uncle Jake might be here, they all decided to run, I jumped out and ran towards the police car.

"Evara, why are you here princess?" Uncle Jake asked.

"Thank you so much for arriving on time uncle, they were about to kill me" I said and gave him a hug.

"Why? And whose car is this?" He asked, I looked down in shame.

"Let's go home first, I need to meet Papa" I said and he gave a nod, asking me to get in the car.

We drove towards home and I walked inside.

"Evara? Why are you back so early? Didn't you have a meeting?" Maa asked and then her eyes fell on Uncle Jake.

"Jake? What happened? Are you fine Evi?" Mumma asked but in return, I started sobbing.

"Oh my God! What's wrong?" She gave me a hug and caressed my hair.

"Some people cornered her car and they tried to shoot her" Uncle said.

"WHAT?" Papa.

"Papa! I am sorry, you were right. Sahil wasn't a good guy" I said and his eyes turned scary.

He walked closer and pulled me away from Mumma.

"Sit down and tell me everything" He ordered and I did so.

"We had breakfast together and decided to drive somewhere but just then someone started shooting at us, he stopped the car and said he was a part of the plan and ran away after taking money from them. They were about to kill me but Uncle arrived on time" I explained and I knew he was going to be so angry.

"Jake, thank you for this" He said and signalled Maa to take me to the room.

"I don't know if I should be thankful or angry" Maa muttered as we got into my room.
