"I...I am Sorry" I said but he didn't reply.

Just then his phone rang and he walked out, after a few minutes he came back with a stressed look.

"We have to go to Spain, I have a meeting there and I cannot leave you alone" He said eyeing my wrist.

"How many days?" I questioned.

"Just 2 days"

I started packing my stuff and we were ready to leave in an hour. I got a call from Maa Sa.

"Hello Beta, I heard you are leaving for Spain today" She said in her usual warm tone.

"Ji"

"Nevan keh rahe hai ki aap bas 2 din ke liye jaa rahe ho? Zyada rukna chahiye na, waise waha Nevan ki Nani ka Ghar hai. Milke aana dono aur mai keh rahi hu, 1 hafte ki packing karke hi jao" She said and we talked some more as she knew about the incidents that happened today.

I actually decided to carry extra clothes because maybe he can extend the stay as Maa Sa said.

We boarded the Jet early in the morning.

"You should sleep, poori raat jaagi hai aap" He said and I gave a nod.

I tried to sleep but couldn't.

After an hour I finally felt myself drifting off.

"Evara wake up, we are here!" He said and I saw outside the window.

How long did I sleep?

"I know what you are thinking, you slept for 14 hours" He said and I realised that I was leaning over his shoulder throughout the time.

"I am sorry" I muttered.

"It's fine"

We reached a house which didn't look like an Airbnb.

"Whose place is this?" I questioned.

"Our place, Baba Sa bought it when he and Maa Sa were in a relationship" He explained.

I have heard Baba Sa and Maa Sa's love story, they fell for each other and fought the odds to finally end up together.

"Their story is such a fairytale" I said with a huge smile.

The window glass shattered startling me, Nevan pulled me towards a room and pushed me in a wardrobe.

"Stay here until I come back" He said and I just gave a nod in return.

I heard his footsteps fading away, soon the sound of someone entering was heard.

I controlled my breath and closed my eyes.

"Evara...." A strange voice called out.

"Don't you want to meet me?" He asked.

I tried to recall if I'd ever heard the voice before but I haven't.

"Won't you enlighten me with your bright smile baby? I've heard your Dad say that you have the prettiest smile in this world" His voice sounded old.

I tried my best to not move, the steps were occurring closer now.

A few gunshots were heard again and I was scared for Nevan, he is in this situation due to me.

Should I go out and let this man kill me? He wants me, this will end the fight!

"Evara...Show me your beautiful face" He said and I pushed the door open.
