"Rani Sa Hukum toh ghani futari laage" A woman said.

"Bas bas! Nazar lag jayegi" Kaki Sa said as she applied kohl behind my ear.

"Aankhein dekho, Heroine se kam na laage" Another one said.

"Apne Hukum Sa bhi toh Hero hai" One of them chuckled and laughter erupted.

I was just giving a plain smile.

"Chalo ab, aaram karne do Baisa ko" One of them said and I walked to the room with Kaki Sa.

"Remove the jewellery or you'll get tired" She said and left.

I walked inside the room to be met by Nevan.

"I'll leave if you need some privacy" He said but I shook my head in a No.

I started removing my jewellery and laid on the couch that was actually like a bed for a small human like me.

I fell asleep and when I woke up there was no one around.

Someone knocked and I asked them to enter.

"Good Afternoon Eva, we need to do a pooja and some rituals to announce you as the Queen of the empire. Change into these clothes, you need to have a milk bath" Maa Sa said as I gave a confused look.

"Why milk? That'll be a waste" I said and she chuckled.

"We just use milk to whiten the water, then some saffron, sandalwood powder, rose water and honey. They used pure milk in olden times but now some things have changed for the betterment" She explained and I gave a nod.

I wore a Maroon saree and walked with Maa Sa.

"Baithiye Bahu Rani, aaj hum aapko snaan karayenge" Kaki Sa said making Maa Sa and Dadi Sa chuckle.

I was seated in a huge circular tub that was made out of some metal and soon they started reciting mantras.

Incense sticks and dhoop were smelling like sandalwood and just then I heard loud footsteps.

The ladies were emptying rose water on me and I heard a chuckle.

"Bhabhi Sa, sundar lag rahi hai aap" Radhya said as she gave me a flying kiss.

"Thank you" I said with a smile and just then my eyes fell on Nevan.

"Maa Sa, I am leaving for a meeting. I'll be back in an hour" He said and looked at me for a brief second before leaving.

By the end of the bath I smelled like heaven.

"Aap jaakar kapde pehen le, humne kamre mein rakhva diye hai" Kaki Sa said.

I have performed the pooja and pradakshina, only one ritual is remaining now.

"Place your hands in Mahavar and leave the handprints on this cloth" Kaki Sa said and I followed her instructions.

"Ab aap humari Rani Sa Hukum Hui" Kaki Sa said giving me a tight hug.

Next up all the ladies of the family hugged me and then came Nevan.

"I hope you'll be a good Queen" He said with a straight face.

"I'll try" I replied.

We left for the main palace and my new home. Everyone was in different cars, I was with Nevan and we two were alone.

His phone started ringing.

"Hello...Security badha dijiye! Hum nahi jaante humein bas safety chahiye" He shouted on the call and ended it.
