E V A R A

Nevan isn't feeling well and so am I.

"Arre...I am just feeling nauseous" He whined as the doctor pulled out a syringe.

"Nevan, take it" I said and he sulked yet agreed to take it.

"How's your condition Rani Sa?" The doctor asked and I thought for a minute.

"I need a gynaecologist" I said and he immediately called for one.

The Gynaecologist was a lady and somewhere I felt a little better.

"How are you feeling Rani Sa Hukum?" She asked as I got seated on the bed.

"A bit exhausted and heavy since a few days" I explained and she picked up her stethoscope.

She was checking and suddenly her eyes widened, she held my wrist to check the heartbeats and shock was visible all over her face.

"Theek toh haina yeh?" Nevan asked but the doctor didn't focus anywhere except me.

She pulled out a syringe and took some of my blood.

"15 minutes and we'll have the reports" She said handing the sample to her assistant who went away.

We waited and after an hour the reports arrived.

She smiled widely looking at me and I somehow understood what was in there.

"Congratulations Rani Sa Hukum, you are carrying the heir of the throne" She said as tears formed in my eyes.

They both walked out leaving me and Nevan alone.

His arms wrapped around my waist and I broke into sobs, I couldn't control the tears. I wrapped my arms around his neck and cried more and soon he cried as well.

"This is...Unbelievable" He said wiping away my tears.

"Exactly! We are going to have a baby, our baby" I pecked his lips and smiled the widest.

We walked out and called Parag.

"Ji Hukum"

"Parag, order Mithai for everyone. We have great news" Nevan said and Parag's eyes widened.

"Your guess is right Parag ji" I said and this time he squealed out of happiness and ran away.

We walked towards the living area and called everyone down, they all came one by one and waited for us to break the ice.

"Bologe ab?" Dadi Sa asked.

"Dadi Sa, aap Par-Dadi bann na chahoge?" I asked and she gave a nod casually, but then the term struck in her and she immediately gave me a 'seriously?' look.

I gave a nod and next came the over-pitched voices of the very classy Rajawat family, I was pulled in hug by everyone and the amount of tears that flew could form a river or maybe a sea.

"Bas ab sab roiye mat, laddoo aa rahe hai abhi" Nevan said with a chuckle as they all laughed.

The baby is going to be spoiled badly.
We all celebrated till late and even Maa, Papa and everyone has left for India.

"Thoda aaram karlo dono" Maa Sa said and we made our way back to the room, as the door closed I laid on the bed and he sat next to me.

He slowly slid up my top and caressed my tummy, it was literally flat at this point.

"Thank you so much Evi, I owe you a life now" He said pecking my lips.

"And what do I owe you?" I asked in return.

He smiled widely before placing my hand over his chest.

"You owe me my heart" Smooth fucker.

"Sudhar jao, Baap banne wale ho" I teased as he laughed, that laugh always makes me weak.

"Baap toh hum hai hi sabke" He said with a smirk and kissed my tummy slowly placing his head over there.

"Welcome Home Baby" He wished and all I could think was how I ever got this guy...I am the luckiest to have him.

"I love you so much Nevan, I am falling every day and believe me or not but you have covered my senses like some disease" I said and caressed his jaw.

"I am a disease and you are my favourite person to stick to, I am not leaving you and about love...You are not allowed to fall out of it until our last of the existences, if anyone takes my name then your name should be taken with mine. Because I love you to the extent where I hate my name if it isn't attached to you" He said and I cried a little.

"We also love the baby" I reminded earning a chuckle from him.

"Ofcourse, it's our first one" He smiled wrapping me in a hug.

"Naam soche aapne?" I asked.

"Bilkul, tune 'I love you' bola tab se soch rakhe hai" He said.

"Bolo na phir"

"Aadrika if it's a girl and Arjun of it's a boy, Actually there are some names which already have been written by our Ancestors. We chose names from that book but while naming me, Maa wanted to give me a name that's western as well as Indian. They all chose Arjun and Maa chose something that wasn't in the book. So now I thought, why not choose Arjun for my son" He ended and I smiled.

"Suit nahi karta Arjun tum pe" I replied with a chuckle.

Nevan is Nevan, unique and lovely.

"So? Do you like the name?" He questioned and I gave a nod.

"I love the names, we know the meaning of Arjun but what does Aadrika mean?" I asked.

"Aadrika is a very thoughtful name, it means 'Apsara.' A Woman who can distract men by just a look, I know our whole family would be against this name but I want to give this name to my daughter. Our ancestors also knew the meaning but they still chose this name, it might have some reasons. You can say if you want to change it, I won't oppose you but if you agree, I won't let anyone change it" He explained, a father has all rights to choose his daughters name, I would never oppose this decision.

"I like it and I don't mind the meaning at all" I said as he gave me a tight hug.

This new addition to the family is surely going to bring big differences.
