N E V A N

"Papa, Everything's sorted and we are safe now. You don't need to worry" I spoke on the phone while eyeing Evara.

"Thank you Nevan, thank you so much" Papa said as I saw his daughter lazily cuddling in the pillow.

We ended the call and I decided to wake her up.

"Evara, you should wake up now" I muttered patting her cheek.

She whined a bit but eventually woke up and gave me a weird look, then she kept looking at me for a minute and suddenly got up.

"Sorry, it takes me a minute to understand my surroundings after I wake up" She said and straightaway ran towards the bathroom.

She walked out wearing a pair of casual pants and a crop top.

"Can we go to the museum?" She asked slowly and I gave a nod.

"Let's have breakfast first" I said and she followed me.

We settled on the dining table and Grandma joined us.

"You both should communicate more, it's good for everyone" She said looking at us intently.

"Everyone?" I questioned having a bite of food.

"Exactly! Everyone...Your relationship is bound with a lot of people, and it will also benefit a lot of people. All I am saying is start exploring each other for your own betterment" She explained and we both glanced at each other.

"It isn't easy Grans" I replied.

"You are making it difficult for yourself" She replied with a certain confidence in her eyes.

"We'll figure it out" I said eyeing my wife who was busy making faces at the avocado toast.

"Are you done?" I asked startling her a bit.

"Umm...Yeah" She said as our eyes met for a brief moment.

"Let's go then" I pulled her hand and walked out.

"Where to sir?" The driver asked.

"Give me the keys" I snatched keys from his hand and got into the driver seat, she got into the passenger one and we drove into the city.

"How is your wrist now?" I asked as her breath quickened.

"I...I feel it's better" She said in an uncertain tone.

"Just better?" I questioned earning a nod.

We entered the museum and thankfully there weren't many people.

She walked faster than ever, her eyes shone looking at the pretty paintings and sculptures.

Suddenly she turned around to see if I was there and again resumed her happy walk.
I followed behind and just observed her moves, she can be so pretty and peaceful sometimes.

"Do you need something to eat or drink?" I asked but she just shook her head in a No.

She literally made me roam around the museum for 2 fucking hours.

"Nevan, you can leave me if you want" I heard her as she looked out of the car window.

"You think I will leave you?" I asked as her eyes snapped towards me.

I could sense the unease.

"My whole family has accepted you, I cannot step back. I will be here by you until my last breath because I am bound with you now. Not even death can do us apart, You are Nevan Singh Rajawat's wife and I am Evara Mehra Rajawat's Husband. These names won't ever change, no one can do it. Not even us!" I explained but all she did was look down and probably curse her fate.

"Nevan I am not suitable, I have ruined myself. I know you won't say it on my face even if you know the situation, I am depressed and I don't have a hope to live" She said as a tear left her eyes.

I stopped the car and gave her a look.

"First of all stop crying, I hate this. I hated your guts and your confidence but now I miss it, where the fuck is that Bitchy Evara? The one who broke my nose and gave me a black eye on my coronation day? A man should not have the power to change you, do you realise whose blood flows through your veins? Do you know how many people are at your back to save you? And do you realise that you are a fucking Queen and your husband is a King, most feared King? I can bury a man alive if you ask me to but I won't allow you to cry over a stupid incident that could happen to anyone. You are depressed then I'll appoint the best therapist, you need fresh air? I'll buy a fucking forest and if you hate yourself then I'll give you hundred reasons to love yourself. You won't give up or cry over your past, and that's a warning now" I ended as her eyes showed a thousand emotions.

"You are insane" She muttered wiping her tears.

"This is just the beginning" I replied driving towards Gran's place.

"Yes Maa, I don't know! I'll ask him, yeah!" She ended the call and looked at me.

"What?" I questioned.

"Can we go to Canada from here? I want to meet everyone" She said as I sighed.

"I cannot stay here for more now, I have work. You can go and stay with them if you want" I said and she gave a nod.

"I'll book the tickets" She muttered and I instantly held her hand.

"What tickets? I'll arrange the jet for you" I said and called Parag to set up everything.

She smiled lightly and suddenly I felt like pulling her cheeks, is that normal?

We ended the day and the next morning she was all ready, wearing loose jeans with a top and jacket over it.

"Why are you up this early?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"Parag Ji called and informed that the jet will be ready to leave by 10 am" She said as I saw the impatience her eyes held.

"It's 8 right now"

"It'll take time to reach the airport, won't it?" She asked and I gave a nod.

"Sit! I'll get ready and drop you" I was walking towards the bathroom when she asked.

"What about you?" She asked.

"I will leave for Udaipur in 2-3 hours, you can call me whenever you are ready to get back" I said.

She just stood there until I got in.
