Pony is reading me a book in my room "Get down here dinners ready!" Darry yells "well we best get going" Pony says "Oh ya I guess" I say. I have liked Pony ever since I met him but never made a move because I don't think he likes me back so I keep quiet.
When we head down stairs the whole gang is there except Dally. "Hey where's my brother" I asked with a confused expression "He's in the cooler again" Two-bit says "of course he is" I'm not surprised when he get in trouble anymore because of how much it happens.
"So Nora what were you and Pony doing in your room?" Steve asks with a smirk and a small laugh "Glory we were just reading" I say giving him a death glare "Ya ya whatever you say" Soda says laughing "Shut your trap Soda" Pony says with slight anger "It was a joke kid calm down" Soda says looking at Pony with slight confusion.
The whole gang thinks Pony and I like each other and should just date already that's why they say stuff like that. Pony usually doesn't care but he's been getting angry and annoyed when anyone's says something about it for a couple weeks now. I don't get why.
"Oh Nora wanna go to the drive in tomorrow with Me and Pony?" Johnnys asks while eating "Of course!" I say with a smile. I love the drive-in it's so fun and romantic for dates..Even though i've never really been on one but that's not the point

"Pony wanna finish the book?" I ask him with a small smile "Oh ya let me just talk to Soda real quick" Soda turns when he hears his name "What about me" Soda gets up from the couch and walks to us "Come on I got to talk to you" Pony says walking upstairs with Soda.

"Whats up pone" Soda says confused
"Can you cut it out with saying stuff about Nora and I" I said with anger rising in my voice
"woah pony we are just joking you know that are you ok?" Soda says worried "No soda i'm not ok because you guys could ruin things" I said with a slight yell "Hey it's ok Pony" Soda says talking to me like i'm a kid "Gosh Soda stop treating me like a kid!" I yelled at him,I never yelled.
"Pony.Whats wrong.Why do you care about the gangs jokes so much? What are we going to ruin?" Soda asked with less of a calm voice "Me and Nora. I like her" I blurted out not realizing what I said. "You like her? I KNEW IT" Soda says still shocked "Sodapop I swear if you tell her i'll skin ya" I say with anger

I heard yelling,pony yelling,I knew he never yelled so I went to go knock on the door. "Hey Pony is everything okay?" I asks through the door "Oh um ya Nora just one second" Soda says in a shocked voice.
A few minutes later they came out of the room "Hey pony are you okay you look a bit shook up?" I asked because I mean he did "Ya let's just go read" he said avoiding eye contact "Oh ok.." I said knowing he's hiding something from me.
