"You better not let Darry walk in" I say putting my arms around his neck "Ya ya whatever" Pony says jokingly rolling his eyes.
"If we get caught he's gonna skin us" I say smiling at him "Ya,him and Dallas" he says with a laugh
Then we hear someone walking up the stairs to my room."Shoot" I say while unwrapping my arms from him neck and he takes his hands off my waist."Hey I gotta talk to you guys" Soda says walking in my room.
"Oh hey what's up" I say nervous "So it's mostly a question" Soda says walking in and closing my door "What is it now" pony says sitting crisscross on my bed, and I sit next to him.
Soda gets my chair from my desk and sits down infront of us. "So you guys have been friends for a long time right" Soda says looking down then at us "Well obviously" I say kind of annoyed "Nora,we talked about attitude." Soda says raising an eyebrow at me "Sorry" I say sighing.I have a short and big temper so Soda tells me to not have attitude with him.
"Is there something going on with you two?" Soda finally blurts out, "What,why would you think that" Pony says with slight hesitation "Ya we are just..close friends" I say with a pause."Everyone knows you like each other.Just admit it" Soda says looking at Pony.
"Even if we did like each other or were together it's non of your concern " Pony says with a slight yell "Okay fine,it's your business" Soda says putting the chair back and leaving the room.
"Woah pony why did you get so mad" I say looking at him worried "I just don't want the gang to ruin things" Pony says making eye contact with me "they wont I promise" I say hugging him.
••••••••~~A FEW HOURS LATER~~••••••••
It's 12:00am now.Me and pony have been talking and reading for the past two hours. "do you think the gang is still here if so awake?" I ask thinking of something to do "Probably Johnny he's always up" Pony says smiling "Well i have a idea" I say standing up and taking his hand "Come on" I say quietly while dragging him.
"What are we doing" Pony groans "We are gonna bake cookies" I say getting the stuff out and smiling at him."Well maybe that could be fun" Pony says smiling taking my hand again.
"So y'all are together huh?" Johnny says looking down "oh shit" I say turning to Johnny "Johnny we wanted to tell yo-" Pony got interrupted "Nah it's ok ima go sleep in the lot" Johnny says walking away
"Whys he's so upset" Pony says confused "he's probably upset we didn't tell him" I said putting my hand on his shoulder."Maybe it's best to tell the gang" I say looking at Pony "Ya we will tomorrow" He says smiling at me.
"Let's make the cookies now" I say trying to lighten the mood "Ok chef Nora" He said laughing.We make the cookie dough and put them in the oven. "Um Nora I think they burned" Pony says take the pan out of the oven "Um..It's okay at least we tried" I say pushing in my lips while looking at the burnt cookies.
"Let's just go up to yours room it's almost two AM" Pony says changing the subject "Ok i'm kinda tired" I say holding Pony's hand and walking upstairs.
We go to my room. "Pone I'm tired so ima go to bed" I say going to lay down"Oh ok good night" Pony says and starts walking to the door"wait I don't want you to leave" I say looking at him"Well I mean i can sleep here" He says smiling,"I would like that" I say smiling back at him.
Pony lays down next to me and puts his arm around waist and pulling me closer."Nora yours one of the best things to happen to me" Pony whispers in my ear "so are you Pony" I say falling asleep "Good night Nora" Pony says laughing "Good night" I say then falling sleep

I wake up with pony's arms wrapped around me. "What time is it" I say to myself and looking at my clock,it's 8:00 "Shit Darry or Soda can wake up any minute" I say."Pony wake up" I say shaking him "What's wrong" Pony wakes up "get up Darry might see us" I say getting out of bed.
Pony gets up and sits at my desk "We can just act like I just came in here" Pony says smiling "I guess so" I say smiling back and walking towards him."How long until we can tell them,I don't wanna keep us a secret anymore" I groan while facing my head up "Not much long" Pony said laughing softly.
I sit on his lap,kinda risky of me because I don't know if we would like it or want me to.
"Well hello there" he says smirking at me "Hi there" I say smiling at him while he gets closer to his face.
"Are you trying to kiss me Curtis?" I say smirking and raising an eyebrow "I mean if that's fine with you Winston" He says with a grin "Of course it is" I say leaning in but then I hear someone walking towards my room.
"you got to be fucking kidding me" i say groaning bc whoever it was ruined the moment.I get off of his lap and sit on my bed."Hey Nor can I come in" Darry says knocking "um ya come in" I say nervously.
Darry walks in and looks at Pony."Oh How long have you been in here" Darry said confused "about an hour or two" Pony says looking at him then at me.
"Well Nor your birthdays coming up what do you wanna do" Darry said with a slight smile.I totally forgot my birthday was in a few days."Well honestly I just want to be with the gang" I say then looking at Pony and smiling.

"I saw that smile,I know something's going on with them" I thought to myself . "Are you guys okay,something seems weird" I ask looking at both of them "No everything great" Pony says smiling.
I haven't seen him this happy ever since we lost our parents.Whatever it was i'm not gonna let me or the gang ruin it.
