Episode 5 - Angelwood Hospital

All Might was worried sick. He'd been there when Midoriya was taken. He hadn't been able to sleep much because all he could remember was Midoriya being carried away.

So when All Might got those several identical messages, each reading "Found the lab", you better believe he was holding his breath each time. He was frustrated that he couldn't be out helping.

About an hour or so after the final message at 10 am, he received another one that read "We have Midoriya. Taking him to Angelwood hospital." All Might arrived at the hospital around twenty minutes later.

He spoke to the front desk quickly and then raced off to the room Midoriya was in. Hawks was waiting outside the door with Aizawa.

"You look tired, Aizawa. I mean, more than you normally do," Hawks said.

"Stressful week. I might go home and sleep for a few days," Aizawa replied. It was hard to tell if he was joking. Knowing Aizawa, it probably wasn't.

All Might walked up to them.

"How is young Midoriya?" he asked anxiously.

"He's still unconscious," Aizawa responded, "but the doctors are examining him. So far they've not found anything out of the ordinary."

"Aside from how he looks," Hawks added.

All Might tilted his head a tad, a confused and worried expression on his face.

"What's wrong with how he looks?"

"See for yourself," Hawks suggested, gesturing to the door.

All Might went to open the door.

"Let me know if there's any news or if there are any changes to problem child's state," Aizawa told them. And with that, he left, looking positively exhausted.

All Might could understand why. Aizawa must feel tremendously guilty. If All Might was struggling to catch even a little sleep, Aizawa must not have been able to sleep whatsoever.

He entered the room.

There lay Midoriya in the hospital bed. He was attached to several monitors and other medical equipment, along with a ventilator. He looked perfectly peaceful. But what made All Might almost gasp audibly was the fact that his previously bright green hair was now white.

It was certainly troubling, considering what this had meant for Tomura Shigaraki. He supposed the doctors would say if they discovered anything wrong with him, so for the time being, All Might would have to wait.

He walked around the bed and over to the window. He opened it slightly, allowing a gentle breeze to flow into the room and play with the blinds. The sun that Midoriya had been enjoying merely a few days earlier, was now peering in through the glass and lighting the room with a warm, comforting glow. Birds sang a pretty melody that filled the air.

All Might sat in a chair near the hospital bed and waited. He watched as Midoriya slept soundly, thankful he was ok and found himself ever so slowly drifting off to sleep.
