You followed after Qibli and Winter you had thought about using your magic to retrieve the scavenger unharmed but the fear of your soul slowly disappearing had your blood running colder than usual, so instead you ran right behind Qibli carful not to step on his tail. "GET OUT THE WAY, LEAVE HIM ALONE I WILL FREEZE YOUR TAILS OFF!" Winter angrily yelled at the dragons although you knew he wouldn't ever do that to a dragon, the scavenger was way ahead of you guys as it ran into a cave.

      Roars of dragons claiming the scavenger mixed with dragons yelling that they wanted to eat it rang through the air as you neared the cave entrance you read the sign hung above it, "Prey Center." 'Three moons this scavenger ran to the worst place possible, when you guys entered the room o wards the middle stood a NightWing that held the scavenger in her talons, 'It's her again.' You thought, she hadn't looked like she was planning to harm Winters pet but still Winter trying to be menacing and also panicking about his pet had to yell at the dragon. 'You mean the NightWing.' The stupid voice growled. You had not being paying attention until you heard Qibli step in "Hi im the idiot clawmate, and that back there is the other idiot. It would be really great if you could give him his scavenger back and I could find you something else." 'Real funny Winter, you thought about him calling you an idiot' You though facing him with a frown although he couldn't see you as you where next to Qibli, you had guessed the dragon realized it was his pet as she placed the scavenger in Winters claws. "Ew you got him all sticky." Winter said before taking him to the river to wash him off, "Hi im Qibli, this is my friend (Y/n) and that over there is my clawmates Winter, what's your name?" Qibli said with a smile, by this time Winter had returned with the wet scavenger.
Moon stared at you three before replying, "Uh I'm Moonwatcher but you can call me Moon, and this is my clawmate Kinkajou." She said referring to the pink and yellow RainWing beside her.

      "Your scavenger is hungry is hungry." Moon said randomly before Winter snapped back, "No he isn't." You had wondered what Winter had been feeding him, you read on a scroll that scavengers only ate cooked meat and fruits, "Here try this blueberry." Moon said handing Bandit the blueberry he sniffed at it before practically devouring it, Winter eyed her suspiciously asking her how she knew that. Moon stood nervously beginning to stutter before Sunny walked over, "I see you have a pet scavenger." She said observing the scavenger eat the blueberry that looked huge in its paws, "Yes Queen Glacier said I could bring him that's the only reason I'm here, if not I'll just take him back home with me." He said with hostility, 'Way to make the IceWings look bad Winter." You thought, "Of course you can keep him, as long as your clawmate is fine with it of course." She said turning to look at Qibli, "Yeah it's totally fine." He said with a grin, "I know someone who has a scavenger named Flower, he says it's a lot of responsibility to care for one." She said, at this point your mind began to drift off you thought about the Ice Kingdom before your mine switched to Snowflake your mind replayed the battle you had with her, you would be sure to ask your mirror if she could go insane using a magic that's not hers.

    From the corner of your eye you saw Moon's ears perk up at that although you shrugged it off, you had began to miss Ostrich, her presence made you feel comforted as she hadn't made you feel bad for being a hybrid something you couldn't control. You looked at the dragons around you as you realized they had also not made you feel bad, for the first time in your whole life you felt ok with yourself, you hadn't been seen as (Y/n) the hybrid they had just seen you as (Y/n). You where pulled from your thoughts when Kinkajou and Moon announced that they where going to head to their sleeping cave, Qibli said goodbye to them before he and Winter also left which left you walking alone to your sleeping cave. When you entered Anemone and Ostrich had been there, "Hi." You said to both of them although it was more to Ostrich as Anemone had her back turned to you both, you climbed onto the ledge where the polar bear skins where. It wasn't until you curled into a hall that your stomach rumbled remind you that you hadn't ate all day.

  You pulled yourself to your feet and started the head out the cave, 'Should I ask Ostrich to come with me?' You thought, you stopped walking before turning your head back to her, she had been laying down on the camel skins reading a scroll, "Hey do you want to go to the prey center with me I just realized I haven't ate all day." You said feeling a bit nervous, 'Why am I nervous?' You questioned yourself, "Yeah sure I'd love to." A smile on her face before she rolled up the scroll and began walking next to you, "So uh where did you grow up?" You asked her, 'Are you stupid (Y/n)? I'm pretty sure she grew up in the dessert.' "Well I grew up in the Scorpion Den as an outclaw because my father, Six-Claws, is one so I was sorta born into it but I love it ether way. How about you where did you grow up?" You guys where in the Prey Center at this point you had grabbed a fish and she got a dried lizard, "Well I grew up around the Ice Palace but I've always lived on the outskirts of the Ice Kingdom because my father, he's a SeaWing, can't survive the cold but sometimes I stay in the palace where I have a room because of my circle." She looked at you  and tilted her head, "Circles?" She questioned, "Yeah it's like a ranking kind of there's 7 different sections," you explained between bites of the fish, "the highest circle and also the one you want to be in is the first one and the lowest one is the seventh circle, usually those dragons aren't treated to well and live on the outskirts of the Ice Kingdom." Ostrich seemed disturbed, "It kind of sucks I know." You said with a frown, "What circle are you in." The thought of telling her your circle make you flinch before you realized she wasn't an IceWing that decided how to treat you due to your circle, "I'm the first dragon in the second circle. Hey do you want some fish?" You said trying to change the conversation, she eyed it and stuck her black tounge out a bit, "Eww raw? No thanks I'll have to pass.", "C'mon it's good try it." You slid the fish to her before she picked a bit off of it, eyeing it as if it would suddenly start moving again. "It's good I promise." You said giving her a genuine smile, trying to reassure her.

She put it in her mouth chewed it a bit before making a face of disgust, "Three moons that's TERRIBLE, how could any dragon eat that." She stuck her tongue out in disgust , causing you to laugh at the adorable expression, "What no c'mon have another bite maybe you got a bad part!", "I think the whole fish is a bad part!" She laughed, you and her exchanged smiles your heart felt warm, you looked at her amber eyes taking in the way the corners of her eyes wrinkled and the way her snout curved when she smiled, her warm yellow scales glowed beautifully against the warm light of the torches, you quickly stomped these thought out. 'Awww getting attached to a SandWing (Y/n)?', 'Not now.' You growled at the voice of your mind you heard it grumble, "We should go back to our cave." You told the SandWing turning away from her and getting up, "Yeah it's pretty late." You didn't give her a response instead you kept walking till you reached your cave and pulled yourself on top of the ledge burying yourself in the polar bear furs, you where a hybrid, you where an animus, you where unlovable. You didn't want to burden any dragon with all your issues so you never let any of them get close enough, "Goodnight (Y/n).", you heard a soft voice say quietly,

"Goodnight Ostrich."

Hello sorry for any spelling mistakes and mistakes with the book I don't really remember Moon's book to well so bear with me, and also do we want (Y/n) to have a love interest?
