Queen Glacier looked at you, but she looked surprised almost impressed. "Dragonet what is your name." She spoke her voice almost as cold as the ice itself, "(Y/N) your m-majesty" you couldn't help but stutter out, "Very well back to what you where doing and, I'm quite impressed with that move." She said in a tone you could not read. Everyone in earshot looked at you surprised themselves when she said this, "Yes, your majesty t-thank you." You gave her a respectful nod with your head but before she flew off towards the Ice palace she asked you one more thing, "Dragonet, what circle are you in." When she spoke this you felt nervous, 'What if I'm not skilled enough for that circle? Is she going to kick me out the Ice Palace? What if she kills me right here right now? What if she hates me for what I am? What if she moves me down a rank?', "Dragonet I'm waiting." Her voice sounded cold, but her eyes had sympathy for me. 'Maybe she thinks I'm pathetic.', "I-I'm sorry your majesty, I'm in t-the s-second circle." 'nice going (Y/N) you don't HAVE TO STUTTER EVERY THING OUT' you bitterly yelled at your self. "Okay, everyone back to what you where doing." She cast a cold glare to everyone staring at them, then she flew away towards the Ice Palace.

~Time skip~

After school you decided to go hunting, you where scanning the icy ground with your eyes then you spotted a grown polar bear. You swooped down to get it, your serrated claws digging into its flesh and it let out a roar of pain and you quickly snapped its neck not wanting to hear the cries that would remind you of your days at war. You where glad the Dragonets of Destiny had stopped the war before it could take anymore lives, you just wished it had been sooner.

The moonlight radiated off the sapphire earring that Fern had gave you, you felt like an idiot waiting for some Mud-Wing you didn't even know well let alone you just met her yesterday! You let out a huff of disappointment you where holding she would come, just them you saw a twinkle in the forest if this was an enemy you where not well hidden you (S/C) scales would be noticeable in the clearing of flowers 'Ok well I'm dead nice ok that's just great' you shut your eyes with frustration and felt yourself getting pinned to the floor 'Whoever this is I won't let them kill me without putting up a fight' when you opened your (E/C) eyes you where met with soft amber ones. A smile crept it's way to your face, 'Fern!' She had the other sapphire earring in her ear. "Well, well, well is it isn't (Y/N)" she said with an adorable dorky smile, "If it isn't Fern. Took you long enough!" You said with a grin, "Did you miss me that much." She said with a smile plastered on her face and she sat down to let you up. "Ha never Ice-Wing don't miss dragons they met yesterday let alone strange Mud-Wings" you said half serious half joking. "Ah well Mud-Wings don't miss strange dragons they found walking in the forest at night." You could almost hear the grin on her face as she struck a dramatic pose, "Haha I do not sound like that!" You felt like if you had known her for ages despite having met her yesterday. "You really do! Oh you should have seen your face as you said that I did the exact same expression!" You couldn't help but smile at her adorableness 'What did I just say, no your just happy to met someone that's not another boring Ice-Wing that only cares about their circle' "What's wrong?" Fern asked you with sympathetic eyes, "Oh nothing I'm... fine I was just thinking." You gave her a reassuring smile and she gave you a frown. Your body seemed to have wanted to embarrass yourself in front of Fern because you let out the biggest yawn you have ever yawned. She seemed to have trusted you because she didn't instinctively back away like most dragons did when Ice-Wings yawned because they where afraid of getting a face full of Frost-Breath. Fern smiled at you and said "Well someone is sleepy!" You smiled as did she, "No it's fine I really can't sleep ether way so I'm fine" you said with a shy smile kind of embarrassed that you had yawned in front of her, 'aghhhh why do I care so much about what I do in front of her.' She stood up from her spot in the flower covered clearing and walked towards you, this made you shudder from your tail till your wing-tips, as she walked closer you could smell marshes and roses on her. She wrapped a wing around you and laying down on her side holding you close with her wings and your talons intertwined together you felt, safe. Her muscular tall figure over your slightly smaller one, the warmth of her scales made you want to stay here forever, you felt your eyelids droop and you felt yourself slipping into a deep sleep when your ears pricked, detecting a sound. Fern noticed this and sat up in a fighting stance and you did the same, letting your Frost-Breath form in your throat. "Fern? Fern" you heard an unfamiliar voice call then a slightly smaller voice "Fern where are you? Are you ok!" Then another voice "Fern come back where are you!" Then one last voice that bellowed and almost wakes all the dragons in phyrria "Fren are you In trouble?" He said with worry. You turned to look at her, curiosity in your eyes, "My sibs," she whispered "they must have realized that I left and came looking for me." You gave her a sad smile and told her, "Oh ok you should get back before they think your in danger," she gave you an apologetic look but before she spoke you took the words from her mouth, "Can I see you again tomorrow Fern?", you asked her hoping for a yes she took your talons in hers and intertwined her claws with yours, "Of course." You smiled at her and she gave you a smile back "See you tomorrow Fern." You looked at her taking in every detail of her before she left, "Always." She spoke and so did you, "Always" you parted your talons and she flew away and hear her explain to her sibs why she left the memory of what she said to you before she left
