'Jade Mountain?' As the queen kept talking you had zoned out, you looked at the flurries so snow that got blown away by snow. After what felt like minutes pass by your attention snapped back to the queen. "If you are interested in joining this school send a letter to me by the 2nd sunset if you don't you will not be chosen, only 5 of you will be able to join, you are all dismissed." With that she gracefully walked away, her tail trailing behind her. 'Finally, a way to get out of here.' your mind whispered, your heart fluttered, but you had also loved It here. After deciding you wanted to go you decided to follow the other IceWings and leave the area. Just as you where about to leave you hear your name be called "Y/n!" Your head snapped back not expecting who you where going to see, Winter, PRINCE Winter. Your heart burned, not of love or fondness, out of anger, your childhood best friend stood in front of you. You slowly bowed, as you heard dragons whispering about it. "What do you need Prince Winter." You growled through shit teeth. "Come with me, quickly." He ushered you to a corner where no one could see you, "What Winter?", "Do you want to join Jade Mountain?" Okay, that's weird. "Yeah...why?", "Great I can get you in there.", "Wha-" you where cut off "Just trust me okay make sure to send a letter as soon as you get home." And with that he took off into the sky. 'Great that was weird, time to get home.'

Once you got home you made sure to send the letter, by then you where so exhausted that you just fell onto your polar bear skins and just let sleep take you away.
When you awoke you felt such a sharp pain all over your body you tried to scream out but they where all silenced then you felt water, you tried to swim the the surface the you kept plummeting down into the dark water. Your head was spinning as you felt all the oxygen from you lungs leave, again you let out a roar but nothing could be heard, you tried your animus magic but nothing seemed to work. Your eyelids dropped and the world got darker around you, you had given up, you remembered everything that you have gone through, being best friends with Winter, falling in love with Fern, your family. You let out one last cry of help, which no one would ever hear. This was the end. Then you woke up again on your skins. For the first time in a very very long time,
You where afraid.
