Terrified couldn't describe your feelings right now your sister was gone and heard every single word you spoke, she had also heard you find out where she got her magic from. You where panicking your breathe becoming broken and ragged, your chest feeling tight, you couldn't think about what to do next. "M-mirror show me where Snowflake is" you said in a panicked voice, your (s/c) talons trembling. The mirror showed her looking at something from the top of what seemed to be an igloo.

Before you could fully turn she pounced on you, her claws sinking into your shoulders pulling a pained yelp from you. You kicked her off with your hind legs although it proved to be a mistake as she tore a chunk of your flesh off with her claws. Thanks the great ice dragon she didn't have an IceWings serrated claws. You pulled yourself to your feet but before you could stand properly she lunged at you again knocking you down and taking the wind from your lungs, why couldn't you fight properly?She jumped behind you and bit your wing with her fangs shaking her head violently like a wolf would to its prey. You let out a roar of pain, you reached behind you and dig your claws into her face, accidentally digging your sharp claws into one of her eyes, she let out howls of pain and she shook her head trying to free her face of your claws, when you let go she roared and finally grabbed you by your neck. She applied pressure causing her claws to break your soft vulnerable flesh. As the light started to fade from your vision you, you saw something in Snowflakes eye, the one that wasn't almost gouged out, a spark of what seemed like happiness as she saw the life fading from you. Oh no, had she gone mad? Could she even lose her soul if the magic was on a vessel and not coming directly from her? What was left of your air escaped your mouth is a hiss, you didn't want to die. You raked your hind legs against her soft underbelly, your claws slicing the skin yet she would not let go .

You kicked at her belly hoping it push her off but with all the strength in your body vanishing it wasn't enough, you bit into her arm, hard pulling her scale covers flesh causing it to rip. That's when she let go she staggered backwards, you got up heaving and looked at her, pure terror on your face. Your own sister had attacked you and almost succeeded in killing you while you stood there cowering like a wounded animan before she could pounce on you once more you spread your trembling wings your shoulders burning from your wings flapping. You didn't dare look back at Snowflake as you flew as fast as you could in the direction you had token off, 'Coward,' a voice in your mind said, 'you couldn't kill a dragon that would have taken your life for fun.' Tears began to stream from your eyes, you where a coward it's all you had ever been it was all that you'd ever be.

You had woken up in the morning up in the morning practically buried in snow, you lifted your self up your wings and tail felt heavy as you stood up your heard was pounding but at least the wounds on your shoulder and wing had stopped bleeding as well as the other tiny scratches that you had. You had noticed about 8 dragons flying above you in the direction of the palace, you thought nothing of it until you saw more dragons flying from another direction. 'Three moons today is the announcement for Jade Mountain Academy!' This thought only made your head throb even more but you still pulled your wings up and flew towards the palace.

You could only wish that you would get accepted into this school you wanted to get away from all of this stress, 'You wanted to get away from the dragon you couldn't kill, Coward.' You choose to not pay any mind to the hurtful voice, you where far to exhausted to try and argue over something that was true. As you landed in the crowd of IceWings you got some strange looks that you where certain where regarding your blood stained scales, you had forgotten to at least washing up before being in the presence of your queen although you still where far to tired to dwell on the thought.

As Queen Glacier stepped into view the hushed chattering of few IceWings quickly came to a silence as the crowd all fell into a respectful semi-bow almost all in sync excluding the few dragons that where a second to late, 'Must be from the lower circles.' your mind said. "The following dragons that will be named will be the dragons that will be attending Jade Mountain Academy." Queen Glacier spoke with an expressionless tone, you could feel the anxiousness practically radiating of the IceWings at her long pause, you on the other talon had a numb feelings both physically and mentally.

"Prince Winter," Huh, you had never thought that winter of all dragons would want to join the strange new academy.

"Princess Icicle," Okay now it made sense these dragons probably didn't even want to attend but being royal the queen decided to place them there.

"Changbai," You turned to look at the IceWing who quickly stifled a smile. 3 dragons being called had meant there where only 2 spots left.

"Alba," She made no expression as they called her name, sitting elegantly with her tail wrapped around her front talons. There was only one spot left, your scaled burned with anticipation. You wanted to jump out your scaled and scream until your lungs and throat where mangled from using your voice so loud, you had gaven up on attending the school as you had felt no hope that your name would be announced next.

"The last dragonet that will be attending is
