You stared at the dragon infront of you, the spines on your back began to rise in alarm, "Darkstalker?" You asked her trying to make sure you heard her right, "Uh yeah do you know wher- do you know anything about him?" Memories of the stories told by IceWings of the ancient dragon flooded into your mind, "Yes I do," you said with a slight hiss to your voice, but you quickly softened your gaze when you saw her slightly flinch, "Why do you want to know about that evil dragon," your tail flicked behind you.

"Do you uh- know where he is?", you tried to recall any mentions of the location of Darkstalker but none came to mind, "No, nobody knows where they put him," there was still a hostile tone in your voice, 'Quit being rude (Y/n) it's not her fault,' you scolded yourself in your mind.

"Oh...is he the reason IceWings and NightWings don't like each other?" Moon looked at you with big round eyes, did she think you hated her? "Yeah he's pretty much the cause of that," you looked at a metal wire that was placed on a table, you took it in your claws and began bending it and twisting it hoping it would release you of the guilt of the dragon infront of you not being aware of a hatred that's been around for centuries.

"Does it feel weird to be around a tribe that doesn't feel like it's yours?" Moon spoke in a soft voice, you met her eyes, and for a moment it was as if you had been granted access to her soul. She wasn't an evil NightWing that stole magic and did terrible things to your tribe, she was a NightWing with a personality of her own, a dragon that was innocent, and she was just as nervous and scared of everything as you where.

"Yeah," is all you could say, you wish there was a way that you could show her you understand, maybe that's what you could use your magic for, something useful to help dragons understand each other.

"I get what you mean, it's like being where you belong but no one wants you there." You looked down at the twisted metal in your claws that resembled a badly made star, "I don't hate NightWing's by the way," you hoped your words would make her believe what you said, maybe one day the feud between the two tribes would end.

You walked to the window next to Moon, you sat next to her and peered up to the Moons above, "The moons are so beautiful," you took a pause and took a deep breath when you felt tears forming at the corner of your eyes, you guessed the emotions of having another dragon understand how it felt to not belong caused them, "Yeah they do," she seemed to be thinking about something as she stared into the moons.

You looked at her, her scales where glowing beautiful in the moonlight, her features where brought out as the moon casted shadows on her jaw and other features. The spines on your back began to stand up again and your scales ruffled, you looked away feeling flustered over nothing, three moons what is going on with you?

You stood up shaking out your scales and looking at Moon, "I think I'm going to go to my cave, you going to stay here?" You shifted your talons as you awaited her answer, "Uhm I think I'll go to my cave," she got up as began walking towards the entrance of the cave.

"I uh- I can walk you to your cave- i-if you want of course,", 'Stop fumbling over your your words walrus brain!'

"Yeah sure it's not to far," you couldn't help but give a smile at her accepting your offer, huh that definitely has to be the first time you smile at a NightWing, "So your friends with Ostrich?"

"Uh yeah- I mean I just met her- but yes she is my friend- I mean I say she's my friend I'm not sure if she thinks the same, but why do you ask?"

"Oh I was just wondering, she's friends with a dragon in my winglet," Moon said shyly, "Oh Qibli right?" You asked her with a friendly tone trying to ease her of her shyness, "Yeah, I think they are both in the outclaws together, my cave is right here." She stood at the entrance of her cave, "Uh thanks," she awkwardly blurted out, "Yeah of course, goodnight," you said with a soft smile.
