"Communications....."
Aru was finally home, with her friends. It took a long time to clean up, but they (thankfully) didn't get too much of a lecture from Mini.
"So, Mini, tell us, what's going on? You seem distracted today." Harper asked Mini as Aru was choosing a movie.
Aru looked over at Mini, who was blushing slightly. "Well, I met this guy today-"
"YOU MET A GUY?? WHAT'S HIS NAME? WHERE DOES HE WORK? IS HE NICE? HOW'D YOU MEET HIM? WHAT'S HIS SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER?" Aru screeched.
"Jeez, calm down! And, uh, I'm going to ignore that last question. I just bumped into him this morning while I was getting coffee. His name is Rudy and he's a fashion designer. And yes, he's really sweet. And cute." Mini blushed a bit harder. "I may or may not have walked into a pole while looking at him."
Aru and Harper gaped at their best friend. "Well, you're whipped." Aru said.
"Oh, shut up."
"Okay, well, you got his number, right?" Harper asked.
"Yeah, he said we should meet up soon. But enough about me, what's going on with the firm?" Mini asked.
"Well, we have to take some pictures for our website, so Ryan asked one of his best friends, who's a photographer, to take them for us. We have an appointment with him on Monday." Harper explained.
"Oooh, that's cool. Who's the photographer?"
"Aiden Acharya."
"Oh, I think he's Rudy's brother!"
"Really? That's a coincidence." Aru said as she looked up from her bag of Swedish Fish.
"Yeah, Rudy's really close with his brother apparently. Just as much as you are with Kara and the twins." Mini explained.
"Huh. Okay, now, as much as I love the gossip, I wanna watch LOTR, so, I love you guys, but shut up."

Aiden opened the door to find his brother and best friend waiting outside. "Hey guys, you're early."
"Yeah, well we got bored, and anyway, this is one of the rare times we get to hang out without Brynne. It sucks that she can't cook for us though." Rudy said as he walked into Aiden's apartment.
"Yeah, her dating Hira is both a curse and a blessing." Ryan said as he raided the kitchen for snacks.
Aiden sighed. "You know, I don't even know why my house is always the hang-out spot."
"Whatever. Anyway, I met a girl today."
"Oh my gods. Rudy met a GIRL? Was she into you?"
"Jeez, no need to sound so surprised. But I honestly don't know. Her name's Mini, and she's pretty cute, and really sweet. She's doing residency to become a doctor." Rudy explained.
"That's crazy. But anyway, Aiden, thanks for setting up an appointment for Harper's firm. She told me to thank you." Ryan said as he opened a bag of Doritos.
"Meh, it's fine. But anyway, let's talk about something else other than work. I've been exhausted this whole week."

ok that was crappy. idk what happened.
