"Dancing in the dark, with you between my arms, barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song..."

"So, basically, that's why I needed to come here." Aru had just finished explaining to Mini, Harper, and Brynne what her dad told her.

"I'm booking seats to get there." Mini said as she opened her laptop on the screen.

"What? No! You can't just come here. What about your residency?"

"It'll be fine. I'll just say it's a family emergency or something." Mini waved it off and continued clicking on her laptop.

"I'll try to do something so I can come, too." Brynne said. She was in the kitchen, baking something probably.

"Yeah, there's really not much going on here, anyway." Harper added.

Aru was about to protest when she heard something clunk against her window.

She frowned. "One second, guys."

Aru walked over to her window, and opened it, looking down. To her amusement, a very familiar face was staring up at her, starry eyes glinting with happiness.

She laughed. "What are you doing down there? It's, like, eleven at night!"

Aiden shrugged, a small smirk playing on his lips. "Jet lag. Besides, I couldn't wait to see you." He made a pouting face.

Aru grinned, shaking her head. "And I thought I was the clingy one."

Aiden laughed. "Get dressed and come down, I want to take you somewhere."

Aru raised an eyebrow. "Where?" Aiden just shook his head. She sighed. "Be right there."

Aru told her friends that she had to go, then changed. Nothing too fancy, just a simple dress, her hair down because she was too lazy to put it into a braid, and grabbed her phone. She quietly opened the door to her bedroom, knowing that one or both of the twins might be awake since it was summer, and tiptoed downstairs. Thankfully, no one caught her.

"Hey." Aiden greeted her as she closed the front door.

"Why did you want to meet this late?" she hissed.

Aiden smirked. "Just come with me." Aru sighed, but followed him, entwining her hand in his.

The couple walked through the city, finally reaching their destination: Central Park. (a/n: idk if Central Park is even open or whatever this late, I don't live in NYC lol)

They walked to a small clearing and sat down.

"This is nice." Aru sighed, putting her head on Aiden's shoulder.

Aiden chuckled. "Yeah, it is."

"My dad wants to meet you." Aru said after a while.

"When?" Aiden asked.

"I don't know, he just wanted to." Aru shrugged.
