After a few minutes (but what felt like only a few seconds to Aiden), they pulled away.
Aiden grinned at Aru, who was blushing madly, her hair tousled.
"So, what are we now?" he asked.
"I don't know, you tell me." Aru shrugged, smirking.
"How about...you be my girlfriend?"
Aru pretended to think. "I think I could do much better," she said looking Aiden up and down, her smile growing wider as she said, "but I guess it could work out." He laughed, and leaned in to kiss her again.

As the new couple entered Brynne's restaurant, all eyes were on them. Aru could see Harper smirking out of the corner of her eyes, and realized that her and Aiden were still holding hands. She blushed, but didn't let go of Aiden.
"FUCKING FINALLY." Brynne broke the silence.
"BRYNNE, language!" Mini scolded, gesturing to the twins, who were smiling at Aru and Aiden.
Brynne just rolled her eyes.
Aru looked over at Aiden, and realized that he was blushing as well, but had a huge grin on his face.

It had been a week since Aru's birthday, and she was about to go on her second date with Aiden. Putting on the necklace he gave her, she smiled.
"You look cute. But change the dress. It does not look good on you." Aru turned around to see Nikita leaning against the door. She rolled her eyes.
"Remind me why you two didn't go back to New York again?"
Nikita smirked. "Oh, please, you would die if I didn't help you pick out your outfit on your first date with Aiden."
"Yeah, I would."
The two sisters laughed. "I should go. Aiden's probably close." Aru said as she grabbed her purse.
"Bye, love you! Come back home and alone, please." Kara said as Aru put on her shoes.
"Oh, shut up." Aru blushed furiously. "Bye!"
Aru walked out of her apartment building and saw Aiden's car parked on the curb. He waved to her.
Aru got into the car and smiled at him. He smiled back and said, "You look really pretty, Shah."
She blushed again. "And you look really handsome, Wifey."
He laughed and started to drive.
