"Taylor?" The teacher asked, and I nodded as I dropped into the only available chair opposite him, sitting between Evie and Hayden. "Just on time, we were about to start."

-

I looked him up and down as he talked, taking him in. He was tall, with broad shoulders and stubble covering his jaw.

-

My breath caught when I met Travis' gaze where he stood behind his car, having just closed the back. He only looked at me for a second, but fuck, the glance we shared was ten times more exciting then my make out session with Hayden.

-

"How about we get you up? You'll catch a cold there." I groaned, shaking my head. "Yes. Come on." Travis grabbed my arms and I sighed but let him pull me to my feet, my head swimming.

-

"So." Travis said from behind me and I spun around, startled. "You want to tell me why you were lying on my front lawn?"

-

God I wanted him. There was something so fucking sexy about a man, a real man, especially one it was against the rules for me to have.

-

"Taylor." He mumbled against my lips. "Taylor, hey." His hands pushed back my shoulders, forcing me to stop. "What the hell are you doing? I'm your teacher."

-

Then Travis reached out, taking my face and tilting it up so I looked him in the eyes. "I meant." He murmured. "I could lose my job if anyone found out the way I feel about you."

-

"We keep this between us." Travis started. "We don't tell anyone, because I could lose my job and my reputation."

-

I smiled, leaning back against the couch as Travis' thumb gently stroked my knee. Then he seemed to pause, like he didn't know whether to say something. But then he did. "Baby girl, I know we agreed that this was just sex and messing around, but I think I have feelings for you."

-

"Taylor." Mrs Kendricks said a few moments later, and I grudgingly looked at her. "I need you to be honest with us. You're not going to be in any trouble as long as you tell us the truth."

-

"I love him!" I shouted, shooting to my feet.

-

"They know!" I told him. "They know and you're going to lose your job and I tried to stop them but I couldn't, but it's okay!" I took his face in my hands, pulling myself up. "Because we can leave. We can get out of here."

-

"I have a son Taylor, and you don't love me. You're just a kid, how could you know what love is?"

-

He looked at me for a long moment and I shook my head, silently begging him not to leave me. But he sighed, lifted to press a kiss to my forehead, and then let me go.

-

I never forgot Travis, and I looked for him once, and only once. It took me a month to track him down, but when I did, I wished I hadn't. He'd re-married his ex-wife, given it another shot so he had a chance to give his son a family. I'd cried for a week, heartbroken that he'd forgotten me so quickly though my heart still belonged to him.
