8. Go the fuck to sleep

Which one is wide awake a two AM ignoring the other and which one is reading "go the fuck asleep" to them very loudly while being ignored

"Kakashi. I love you, I really do, but I'm seriously thinking about chopping your limbs off" Iruka threatened, his voiced slightly muffled by the pillow on top of his head.

"All the kids from day care are in dreamland. The froggie had made bis last leap. Hell no, you can't go to the bathroom. You know where you can go? The fuck to sleep" Kakashi read as he ignored his husband's protest.

"I have three tests to proctor tomorrow, please shut up." The dolphin wined, taking the pillow from the top of his head and hitting the scarecrow with it, hitting him directly in the face.

"The owls fly forth from the treetops. Through the air, they soar and they sweep. A hot crimson rage fills my heart, love. Come on, shut the fuck up and sleep"

Iruka sighed, he knew the silver haired man would not go down with a fight and that the book was not even at a halfway point. Kakashi was the love of his life but right now, all the teacher could think about was getting away with killing his partner. Rolling over he faced Kakashi, his eyes squinting from the lamp that illuminated the room, perfectly outlining the features and structure of the older man. If he couldn't sleep the best thing he could do was at least listen, right?

"......But you can't lie the fuck down and sleep? The seeds slumber beneath the earth now. And the crops that the farmers will reap. No more questions. The interview's over. I've got two words for you, kid: fucking sleep" Kakashi continued to read, knowing that the ponytailed man laid beside him and listened.

"Kashi.."

"Hm?" They mutter.

"The tiger reclines in the simmering jungle. The sparrow has silenced her cheep. Fuck your stuffed bear, I'm not getting you shit. Close your eyes. Cut the crap. Sleep." Iruka demanded as he leaned over to give the scarecrow a quick kiss to the lips as he turned off the lamp and turned on his side, his back facing the dumbfounded man.

Silence lasted for a few seconds before Kakashi broke it.

"The flowers do-"

"KAKASHI. GO. THE. FUCK. TO. SLEEP!"
