Harry quickly turned off the TV in the media room before the two of them exited, flipping off the lights on their way out. The only light guiding them was the glow from the upper level lights coming down the staircase. And when they reached the main level, their eyes needed to adjust to all the lights that were left on.

"Jesus," Tegan hissed, shielding her eyes like she just walked out of a cave or something.

Harry snickered at her as he walked into the kitchen and grabbed his phone off its charger and unlocked it, quickly scrolling through it. A moment later she heard all the doors click and she quickly looked around the space.

"Did you just... did you just lock all the doors with your phone?" She asked him, looking astonished.

"Yep," he said, fiddling with something else on his phone and suddenly all the lights in the house dimmed as low as they would go without actually shutting off.

"Wow," she cooed, looking around the space.

"The backyard lights are still on," Tegan pointed out, looking out the large back window.

Harry quickly swiped something on the phone and those lights shut down too.

"Wow. Color me impressed, Mr. Moneybags," Tegan quipped, smiling over at him through the dimness.

And with another swipe of his phone, lights on the floorboards of the stairs lit all the way up to the next level and beyond.

"Now that is cool," she said in total awe of his smart house.

With that, Harry slipped his phone in the pocket of his shorts and walked over to her.

"Ready for bed?" He asked her with a smile.

"Mm-hmm," she hummed, smiling back.

"Brace yourself," Harry warned, leaning down before he gripped her in his arms and threw her over his shoulder. Tegan shrieked out a laugh.

"What are you doing, you mad-man?" Tegan giggled.

"Carrying you up the stairs – by your request," Harry told her matter-of-factly as he walked toward the stairs.

"Wait! Wait," she said quickly before he could even go up the first step.

"What?" He asked, stopping in his tracks.

"Need my phone," she told him.

"Where is it?" He asked quickly.

"In my purse. On the table by your front door," Tegan told him and he quickly walked them over.

"I can't see anything," he whined.

"It's small and black," she told him.

"Here," he said, turning her to face the table. She felt around for a few moments before her fingers touched the bag. She quickly grabbed the clutch and opened it, getting her phone out of it.

"Okay," she said, slipping it into his pocket.

"My shorts are going to drop," he said with a snicker.

"Wouldn't be the worst thing in the world," Tegan quipped and let out a laugh.

"Oh, woman," he groaned lowly. She let out a laugh as he made his way back to the stairs.

"Oh my god. Don't drop me," she whimpered as he started ascending them, knowing he was just as drunk as she was.

"I'm not gonna drop you. You weigh less than a bag of luggage," Harry retorted.

"Oh, shut up," Tegan laughed, knowing he was absolutely full of shit.

"I do quite like having your bum in my face though," Harry said, sliding his palm across it.
