For the first few minutes as they ate, neither one of them made a sound. Tegan's tastebuds were in heaven as she ate the french toast Harry ordered for her.
"Haven't asked you questions in a while," Harry said as he finished chewing part of his toast, pulling his phone out of his pocket.
"Found some questions the other night," he told her as he flicked his thumb across the screen, his eyes contently watching whatever was on his phone.
"Mm. Have at it," she said, wiping her mouth with her napkin before smiling at him.
"Okay. Would you rather—"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! PTSD. I'm having war flashbacks right now," she said, waving her hands through the air in front of her.
Harry let out a loud laugh and she could only chuckle under her breath.
"Would you rather, not who'd you rather," he emphasized, letting out another laugh.
"I was gonna say, I already passed that game. Don't wanna play again," she snickered.
"You did pass. You passed with flying colors," he chuckled.
"Okay. Alright. You can continue. I'll just call my therapist later for an emergency sesh," she said with a little laugh and he snickered, shaking his head at her.
"Okay. Would you rather—" He said, putting heightened emphasis on the word as he eyed her.
"Mm-hmm," she hummed, smirking at him.
"Would you rather go back in time to be able to know me longer—"
"Mm-hmm. Yes. Definitely," she interrupted immediately and he let out a laugh.
"I wasn't finished," he chuckled, eyeing her across the table and she giggled into her fist.
"Would you rather go back in time to be able to know me longer or spend more time with me now?"
"What kind of question is that?" She asked, sending him an odd look and he let out a snort of a laugh, finding her reaction humorous.
"It's the question I just asked you," he deadpanned.
"Uh, both," she said matter-of-factly.
"Can't have both, Tegan," he laughed.
"I don't understand the question, so I'm throwing it out," she said as she shoved a piece of french toast in her mouth, waving her hand through the air and Harry let out another loud laugh.
"I think that's against the rules, but whatever," he chuckled, looking down at his phone again.
"Okay, answer these next ones as fast as you can. First thing that pops in your head," Harry told her.
"Okay," she said, trying to focus.
"Uh, would you rather go on a fancy date or chill date?"
"Chill."
"Would you rather be your crush's first love or last love?"
"Last."
"Would you rather be able to speak and understand every language in the world or be able to speak to and understand animals?"
"Animals. Oh, wait—"
"Ooh. Sorry, love. I'll only allow first answers," he said over-zealously, pretending he was a game show host.
"Okay, fine. Keep going," she snickered, rolling her eyes at him.
"Would you rather donate your body to science or donate your organs to people that need them?"
