Harry and Tegan walked a little further away from the stage just so they weren't in the same spot if the paparazzi guy returned, and they found a large tent that just so happened to be a makeshift bar.
"Want a drink?" Tegan asked him with a smile.
"Gonna need one," he huffed, looking like he was a bit tense.
"Harry, please. Please don't let this ruin our night. I just want to be with you. Who cares about that guy," Tegan said, stepping in front of him to try to calm him.
"Yeah. Yeah, of course," he said, the tension draining from his face immediately.
"Okay," she said with a wide smile.
"Okay," he said, leaning in to kiss her, slipping his tongue against hers for a quick kiss before pulling back.
"C'mon," he said, grabbing her hand before leading her into the tent.
There were a number of people in there, but that was probably because they were hosting a very rambunctious karaoke party. The guy on stage was a large man, whose shirt was nowhere to be seen and had probably twenty mardi gras beads around his neck, singing a very lively rendition of Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-a-lot.
"Amazing," Harry chuckled, watching the guy as the two of them stepped up to the bar.
Tegan quickly got the attention of the male bartender and he came over right away with a wide smile on his face.
"What can I get you, sweetheart?" The guy asked in a provocative tone.
"Oh, um. I'll take a Corona," she told him before looking over at Harry.
"What would you like?" She asked him over the loud music.
"I'll have the same," Harry said to the man.
"You've got it," he said, moving to grab the two bottles before coming back to flip the tops off for them as Tegan handed him money for the beers and a tip. The guy thanked her with a suggestive smirk before walking away to get the next patrons order.
"Another bartender with eyes for you," Harry said, heightening a teasing eyebrow at her.
"What?" She giggled as the two of them walked toward a table that was just vacated by another couple.
"This bloke, the bloke at the bar where we played billiards," Harry pointed out, his smirk teasing.
"Oh my god, not even," she laughed, rolling her eyes.
"Yes, even," he chuckled.
"It's their job to flirt. It's how they make tips," she pointed out, kind of loving the teeny bit of jealousy she was seeing in him.
"Mm-hmm," he hummed into his bottle before taking a sip.
"Oh, shut up. Come here," she said, pulling her with him up toward the DJ's makeshift booth.
"Where are you taking me?" Harry asked as the next person got up onstage and started singing Toxic by Britney Spears.
"Hi. How do we sign up?" Tegan asked the guy behind the table.
"We're gonna sing karaoke?" Harry asked, sounding very amused.
"Mm-hmm," she hummed, smiling back at him.
"You can look through songs on the iPad there," he said, pointing to it lying on the other side of his equipment.
"Thank you!" Tegan said with a smile as she handed her beer to Harry and picked up the iPad to look through it.
