"Harry?" Tegan breathed into the phone.

"I'm here," he chuckled.

"I'm sorry about that," she giggled, apologizing for her sister as she felt her cheeks heat up.

"No need to apologize, love," he told her immediately.

"She's literally probably calling her husband right now to brag that she just talked to you," Tegan laughed, totally picturing her doing it.

"Ha! Really?"

"I'm dead serious. Either that or our other sister," Tegan giggled.

"I think I've just made her day," Harry said proudly.

"I know you just made her day. And you made mine too," Tegan said, smiling into the phone.

"Have I now?" Harry asked, his voice getting a bit husky as he said the words.

"You have," she giggled.

"Talking to you has made my day too, kitten," he told her, causing her whole body to flush again because of the nickname.

God. She missed him. And with him bringing up the nickname he gave her during one of their most intimate moments, it only fueled her need for him.

"Has it been two weeks yet?" She whined playfully and Harry let out a laugh.

"Unfortunately not. But I know how you feel," he added.

"Are you like, super busy... you know, in New York?"

"Uh. Not at the moment. It's past midnight here," he told her.

"No. I know. I just mean, in general," she elaborated.

"Oh. Yeah. I had three meetings just today alone. But yesterday, I got to have lunch with my manager, Jeffery," he told her.

"Jeff Azoff?" She asked.

"That's the one," he told her.

"Oh, cool. I haven't talked to my manager since I told him I'd fire him if he fucked up my date with you," Tegan told him and Harry let out an amused laugh.

"You are so funny," Harry told her.

"I was 100% serious. You should have seen his face. He looked a little scared," Tegan giggled.

"Remind me not to get on your bad side," Harry chuckled.

"I've pictured many things about you over the years, Harry, but not one of them consisted of you being on my bad side," she told him honestly.

"Let's hope it stays that way," he chuckled.

"I can't imagine it will change," she cooed into the phone.

Everything with Harry was so surreal. She still couldn't believe it was happening.

"I feel so inadequate..." Harry began, causing confusion to spike in Tegan's brain.

"What? Why?"

"Maybe that's not the right word. It feels so disproportionate between us," he tried to explain.

"What do you mean?" She asked as her heart sank, her mood floundering a bit.

"I just mean, you know so much about me and I only know one night's worth of information about you," he elaborated.

"Oh," she said quietly.

"It's not a bad thing. Just means we need to spend more time together," he explained.

"Oh," she said again as a smile immediately turned up her lips and her heart began beating wildly in her chest.

"Can't wait to spend more time with you," Harry continued.
