Another modern au

●Context● Its the screenshot above. But, in this au Zuko and Suki were already dating, but they both like Sokka.
Also, Sokka won first place in the nationals for swimming, he just wants some attention from the attractive lifeguards.

First time: June 5th

Zuko was sitting in the life guard chair while Suki was standing trying to just be there. Sokka saw these two and knew, he had to get their attention somehow.

"Hey Suki." Zuko said to his girlfriend. "What?" She asked. "Sokka is here." He replied. Suki smiled. "Aww, let's see what he does."

"Sokka." Katara said to her brother. "Don't do anything stupid." Sokka nodded. "I promise my dear sister." He walked off into the water. "He's gonna do something stupid." She whispered to herself.

Sokka did the normal, he swam a bit, then he went to where the couple were. He could see they were watching him. Then, he did something stupid. He pretended to drown. Suki looked to see Sokka drowning, and she dove in the water to see him.

Suki successfully got Sokka out of the water. "Oh thank you Suki!" Sokka looked at her. He likes the way the sun illuminated her features and made her look like a goddess. "Your welcome Sokka, and be careful." She stood up and walked back over to her boyfriend. Sokka watched her. "Yeah, I won't." He whispered to himself.

That was a month ago. Every day, Sokka would fake drown, Zukko and Suki would take turns saving him, but they noticed that it was weird. So, they had to talk with his father.

July 6th

Sokka drowned, again. And Zuko saved him. Luckily, it was Zuko and Suki's lunch break, so they both got out. "Sokka," Suki looked at the blue eyed boy. "Can you take us to your father please? We would like to talk to him." Sokka nodded and leaded the two to his father. "Dadd." Sokka anounced. "The lifeguards want to talk to you." Hakoda turned to look at the two lifeguards. Katara was next to her father, she looked at Sokka and scowled. "I told you not to do anything stupid." She said through gritted teeth.

Suki and Zuko pretended not to hear this. "Sir, your son has continuously been drowning, do you know about this?" Suki asked, genuinely concerned. "Drowning?" Hakoda asked. "In November he won first place at the nationals." Suki and Zuko raises their eyebrows.

"Nationals, for swimming?" Zuko asked. The man nodded. The couple looked at a defeated Sokka. "Damnit." He whispered. "Alright, alright, you caught me." Sokka put his hand up for surrender. "I guess I just wanted attention from you guys because, well, I like the both of you. And I thought if you guys kept saving me, then maybe, just maybe, I could get courage to ask you two out." Suki and Zuko smiled. "Really?" Suki asked. Sokka nodded.

"I get if you think its weird." Sokka looked away. "Actually, its quite the opposite." Zuko looked at Sokka, hesitating before taking the blue eyed boy's hand. Sokka looked at him. "We like you too." Zuko confessed. Suki nodded. "Its our lunch break, do you wanna hang with us?" Suki asked.

Sokka looked at his dad for approval, who nodded. "Yes! I'd love to hang out with you guys!" Suki and Zuko smiled. Suki grabbed Sokka's other hand. "The let's go eat some lunch." The three walked away together. Sokka was happy he now had a boyfriend and a girlfriend, and he knew, maybe being stupid sometimes was okay.

This was fun to write. I really love Zukki, so this one made me happy.
